Erected in 1418, the column features a statue of the medieval knight Orlando (or Roland), a legendary figure symbolizing the freedom and strength of Dubrovnik. Visitors will have the opportunity to sample one of Dubrovnik’s traditional sweets offered at one of the farmers market stands.
