Excellent Tour - I was not supposed to be on this day trip but I am so glad it got changed. This day trip was truly magnificent and our driver/guide Michael was absolutely incredible, great craic. I already look forward to my next trip with Paddywagon, and I hope Michael will be the driver next time as well. Not everyone can handle me babble on for that long, a testament to his professionalism 😄 Thank you for indulging me as I rambled on about history and bank heists.

Outstanding tour from start to finish! - Paddywagon’s “Glendalough, Wicklow Mountains and Kilkenny Tour from Dublin” was outstanding - we booked this on the way back from Paddywagon’s “Cliffs of Moher Tour from Dublin,” which was also outstanding! Shaine’s narration, humor, and side stop at Michael’s sheep farm, with a sheep dog demonstration, was a highlight. Shaun’s served as a tour guide for the interested - pointing out many things we would miss on our own. Both tours were so enjoyable! 10 stars!

Kilkenny tour was fantastic - Had an enjoyable day traveling through the Irish countryside. JJ, our driver, told us tales of Irish life, historical facts and recommendations on places to go and eat. The tour was worth taking and we would book another tour of ever in Ireland.

5 stars for Michael - The sheepdog demonstration should be included in VIator's description. It was part of the trip but not actually stated in the description or itinerary. The experience was terrible because we went during a storm which really made the day quite miserable - our own fault, really. I rate the trip 5 stars anyway because only the weather affected us negatively, and that is not the Paddywagon's fault. Our guide and driver, Michael H from Paddywagon is one of the greatest people we have ever met. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and funny. I can only recommend this trip because of him. I hope anyone else who books this trip gets good weather and get Michael as their guide and driver. 5/5

Driver was excellent, Viator not so much - Patrick, our driver, was personable, knowledgeable and accommodating. He was put into an awkward situation when several of our fellow travelers decided that the schedule did not apply to them, so they were 15 minutes late returning to the bus. We almost missed the next portion of the tour, but thankfully the owner of Irish Working Sheepdogs waited for us. This is neither Patrick’s nor Viator’s fault of course. The sheepdog demonstration was definitely the highlight of the tour. Glendalough was beautiful, and Kilkenny was interesting, but 2 hours wasn’t quite enough time if you also wanted to eat. Where Viator dropped the ball was failing to notify us of a time change. We got up early to make sure we were at the pickup point before 8am as instructed. We went in to the Paddywagon Tours office to confirm, and they informed us that the tour was now leaving at 9:10. That gave us an extra hour plus to explore, but I just as easily could have slept in a little and not rushed through breakfast. I don’t know when the time change occurred, but nobody messaged us. Thankfully it was an hour later and not an hour earlier. Overall we enjoyed the experience and would recommend it. Hopefully the problems were just isolated incidents.

Beautiful landscapes but insufficient time - Overall it wasn’t bad, but there are several things I didn’t like. The time you're dropped off at Glendalough is insufficient. It takes half an hour on foot to reach the lake and another half to return. They only leave you there an hour. We had to run back because there is barely time to take pictures, let alone go to the bathroom. I arrived 5' after the hour and the driver got angry and was about to leave and leave there a woman who only arrived 8' after the hour. Then we were 20' waiting on the bus for another bus to arrive to do the sheepdog demonstration. Besides, it said that the excursion lasted 10 hours and was 9 hours.
