- Temple Bar - While this tour focuses on more offbeat traditional pubs, we will pass by Temple Bar – the heart of Dublin’s nightlife. Wander the cobbled streets of the famous Temple Bar area. Your guide will reveal the real local spots (street art, bohemian shops) and hidden gems in this overly touristy area.
- Dublin Castle - We will explore the grounds of Dublin Castle (upper and lower courtyards, Chapel Royal, Dubh Linn Gardens) without entering any interiors, which can only be accessed through an official Dublin Castle tour.
- Christ Church Cathedral - Along with St Patrick’s Cathedral, Christ Church is a stunning example of Dublin’s medieval religious architecture. We’ll be visiting the exterior only.
- Ha’penny Bridge - Snap a picture of your group at Dublin’s most iconic river crossing! Cross the famous Ha’Penny Bridge, one of Dublin’s landmarks. Look up the river towards the Guinness Brewery (you might catch the aroma of hops boiling) or down the river towards the Custom House and the modern Docklands area. Or simply stop to observe the lovers’ locks.
- City Hall - A key location of the 1916 Easter Rising and an example of Dublin’s 18th-century architecture.

Terrific tour of Dublin - not stop interesting. - Wonderful tour!!! Great history, archeology, architecture, and stories. Will definitely call up John again when I am back in Dublin for another tour and recommend him highly.

Awesome tour that mixed history, pints and stories! - John was a wonderful guide. We learned so much about areas of history that were unexpected but very important. My young adult sons were interested in hearing the stories about buildings and historical figures. We had a terrific time and the tour was well worth the time and money. Will definitely contact John again when we return to Dublin!

Our first visit to Ireland was made very special with this tour - John Caffrey was our guide. He was so amazingly knowledgeable of Dublin and Irish history and knew all the very best sights. We are in Ireland with a Nashville country artist that we manage and John even connected us with the owner of Darkey Kelly’s pub to set up a chance for our artist to perform at the pub. Even when we made a request to add a couple of additional stops he was totally accommodating. John and this tour made our first visit to Ireland much more enjoyable than if we had explored on our own. Thank you John

Hidden gems and great pints! - We had an absolutely fantastic time on our sightseeing and pints tour with Eamon! He’s incredibly knowledgeable about all things Ireland — from the rich history and culture to the little stories and details that make Dublin so special.
What really made the day memorable was how Eamon took us to places we never would have found on our own — true hidden gems that gave us a real feel for the city. Add to that his easygoing personality and great sense of humor, and it felt more like spending the day with a friend than a tour guide.
If you’re looking to see the authentic side of Dublin, learn a ton, and enjoy a few great pints along the way, we can’t recommend Eamon highly enough. He truly made our trip unforgettable!

INCREDIBLE!! - Kevin was beyond incredible. I would highly recommend this tour. He was so knowledgeable, so funny, and just overall was an amazing experience. We did this tour on our honeymoon, and I would gladly book this tour again when we return with more family! I can’t say enough positive things about Kevin and this tour!

A Passionate and Unforgettable Tour in Dublin - Garvan Rushe , our tour guide wasn’t just knowledgeable - he was a storyteller, historian , and proud resident of Ireland! Every stop was brought to life with rich detail and personal anecdotes that gave depth and meaning to each place we visited.
What really made the experience truly unforgettable was his passion . You could feel how deeply connected he was to Ireland, the culture and the history. While tucked inside small Dublin pubs along the way,for a pint , he made sure we didn’t just see Ireland - we felt it.
If you’re looking for a tour that goes beyond the surface, guided by someone who truly loves their country and wants you to love it too, I can’t recommend this experience highly enough. Ireland is beautiful - but seeing it through his eyes made it extraordinary.
