Straight from the plane to the boat & the bay - It was perfection. I took a cab to Howth directly from the airport with my elderly mom & my 15 year old son, after the yuck red eye from JFk, crammed full of people & luggage. We couldn’t check in to the AirBNB until 2 & I wanted something that didn’t require a lot of energy expenditure, but was fun. So rather than do the famous Howth hike on the cliffs, we took this ride. Our suitcases fit on the boat - we didn’t have a lot. And the air was so refreshing and gorgeous and crisp. View was beautiful, commentary interesting, saw birds and befriending some really cute & interactive seals in Howth. Ate oysters from Achill Island sitting outside for lunch. Of course it was a sort of rare perfect day. We added a layer of sweater for the boat ride. Just perfect. THANK YOU!!

lots of birds but trip shorter than advertised - The side of the boat we sat on was great for seeing the cliffs but when we sailed around the island we were on the wrong side of the boat and my view was blocked by posters about leaving a review which was disappointing. There was so m any birds though which was lovely, just a shame we didn't have a better view. The trip was advertised as a 50min cruise but it only lasted about half an hour which was disappointing Bring a jacket. I had a sleeveless top on as it was a really hot day but it was cold out on the boat.

Shorter tour than advertised, not worth the money they ask. - Beautiful scenery which is worth a visit, however the tour was not worth the cost. The boat only went out for 40 mins and the tour operator/captain didn’t speak a single word to us, or acknowledge our presence. There was an audio tour playing however you could barely hear it and we didn’t feel welcomed by staff.
