Looking for a unique and enjoyable cruise experience - We did a Marina Dinner Cruise last night and I have to say it was fantastic!! The food and service were nothing short of excellent. One of the staff members was especially helpful. Alaa joined in with our girls enthusiasm for dancing making their experience in their words 10 times better. She was friendly and interactive not with us but with others on the cruise.

Nice way to see the Marina - The trip round the marina was lovely, the food adequate and tasty , we paid extra for the alcoholic beverages but not worth it.

- Our driver Ejaz was knowledgeable and pleasant..giving us commentary of Dubai sights as he was driving to the Marina.
The cruise itself was enjoyable n the views were great.
However certain areas of the Marina didn't smell good.
The drinks were hot and the food was cold. The butter chicken was lekker.
My suggestion is to prepare less food which tastes great than having so many choices which don't.

Fantastic Dinner - I gave a 4 out of 5 but not because I didn’t enjoy the experience. The meal was excellent and I couldn’t have asked for anything better.
Towards the end of the cruise we experienced a drone show which was magnificent and so unexpected. Everyone on the dhow thoroughly enjoyed the spectacle.I give a 5 out of 5 for the dhow and dining. My 4 out of 5 is because I didn’t have a really great experience with the driver who did the pick up and drop off. I was told to expect our pick up between 7 and 7.30. At 6.35 the driver sent a text to say he was waiting in the lobby. At 6.38 I received another text to say he was still waiting in the lobby. We quickly made our way to the lobby and ended up having to ask the doorman to find the driver. He was at his vehicle. When I explained why we weren’t in the lobby he didn’t want to know. Our group felt he was not impressed that he had to wait (realistically only while we made our way to the lobby). The next pickup was basically waiting for the pick up, but the 3rd pickup wasn’t ready. Obviously because he was too early. The driving was atrocious, and we felt it was because he was angry having to wait for people. After the cruise one couple decided they were going back
to their accommodation with other people in another group. So as far as we were concerned the driving on the way back to our hotel was equally as bad as on the way to the cruise. The driver did not receive tips when dropping us off, as our group decided we were not going to pay for very bad service.

Dubai marina dinner cruise was average to poor - Dinner cruise overall was OK and interesting. Service on the boat was poor and food quality was poor. Based on service and the dinner it was overpriced. They could have provided a better tasting barbeque.

Poor experience! - When we arrived at the port the boat was full, dinner had already begun so, we were seated at a table on a tip that was not even prepared. We were not served the entrance and delay to be served water to drink. It was not a nice experience as we expected.

Underwhelming - We found this dinner cruise very underwhelming…
No complaints about the transfer from the hotel. The driver was on time and the vehicle was comfortable.
The Dhow itself looked good and was nicely decorated. Despite having one of the inner tables on the upper deck, we had great views of the marina skyline but that is where the promised “luxury” stopped.
The “Traditional Emirati Welcome” was nothing more than a rushed production line experience as all the passengers were admitted to the Dhow at the same time - a warmed washer with nowhere to put it after we were done, followed by an Arabic coffee that we had to scull to make way for the person behind us, followed by a date with a seed in it - again rushed and with nowhere to place the seed…
The food tasted fine but was more in line with a CWA women’s luncheon menu than the promised “5 star buffet”. The Butter Chicken literally had a few pieces of chicken swimming in sea of sauce… and the Arabian BBQ was nothing more than 3 tiny pieces of meat the size of a 50 cent piece with some BBQ sauce… definitely NOT my idea of a 5 star menu.
In my opinion, this dinner cruise was definitely not value for money, nor did it provide the “luxury” experience that it advertised.

Not recommended - Can absolutely not recommend it. The food is miles away from a 5 star meal and more like canteen food.
At the beginning, you are greeted in a friendly manner by loudspeakers that tear your hearing apart.
The tour itself is really great and you get to see some of the marina. However, the guests come up from the lower deck (rightly because downstairs you only get half) so you have a better view. But has the disadvantage that it is overcrowded at the top.
Again, you are accompanied musically with loudspeakers that absolutely override.
The transfer from the hotel to the marina is quite punctual but the driver does not seem to be able to cope too much with manual gear shifting. He felt constant on the clutch so it partly overheated and it smelled accordingly in the car.
