It is a significant landmark on Dubai’s tourism map and serves as a cultural hub through live library presentations, documentaries, and lectures from around the globe. It includes a vast electronic library database, with most physical books, articles, and newspapers being converted to electronic formats. The library will also be digitally connected with global libraries to share and access rare, valuable, and hard-to-find information sources.

Architectural Concept: The Rehl, a traditional lectern, symbolizes the library’s role in preserving cultural treasures through literature, periodicals, and audiovisual media. The architectural design of the library is inspired by the Rehl, translating this concept into a modern 21st-century form.

• Al Jadaf Walk - Al Jadaf is the historic dhow building yard. Historically, Al Jaddaf, meaning The Rower, was primarily a dhow construction area. Its shipyards remain the sole site for building and maintaining these traditional boats.

• Dubai Creek Harbour - Dubai Creek Harbour is at the center of an ambitious new vision for Dubai. With stunning cultural offerings, world-class residences, shopping, amenities, offices, and more, Dubai Creek Harbour will also feature the next world’s tallest skyscraper.

• Design District D3 - Dubai Design District (d3) was developed in collaboration with the design community to create a creative ecosystem that exceeds the expectations of a typical creative neighborhood. d3 fosters inspiring, authentic, and relevant ideas shaping Dubai’s future as a leading destination for design, art, and culture. It has its own vibrant heart, spirit, and unique style.

d3 is home to the region’s growing community of creative thinkers. It is being developed as part of the Dubai Plan 2021, utilizing Smart City principles that offer digital connectivity to foster an innovation-driven economy.

• Dubai Water Canal - Dubai Water Canal is a transformative infrastructure project that winds its way to the Arabian Gulf from the old Dubai Creek, effectively turning a significant part of Dubai into an island.

This 3.2km long waterway ranges from 80 to 120m in width, is six meters deep, and cuts through Dubai’s main artery, Sheikh Zayed Road, connecting with the Arabian Gulf.

• Design Image - Business Bay is Dubai’s Central Business District. Similar in nature to Manhattan or Ginza, which are business hubs for New York and Tokyo, each building in this district boasts a unique design, featuring several architecturally striking structures and world-class amenities. The development of Marasi Business Bay, with its 12km promenade, water homes, floating restaurants, five marinas, and a wealth of leisure and entertainment options, further enhances its appeal to residents and visitors.

• Dubai Waterfall - Sheikh Zayed Bridge Waterfall is a mechanical waterfall where the Canal meets the Sheikh Zayed Road Bridge. This motion-operated water feature pumps water through the bridge in a continuous flow, visible from the promenade, and can be turned off when a sensor detects a nearby boat.
