- The Chinese Pavilion - The pavilion features Swedish Rococo furniture with Chinese influences, alongside imported Chinese artifacts. Many rooms retain their original Chinese silk and paper wall coverings. The collection includes lacquered screens, stained glass, porcelain, and other decorative items, likely imported by the Swedish East India Company. Some Chinese artifacts date back to the times of Queen Hedvig Eleonora and Queen Kristina, when porcelain was a luxury.

Embark on a daytime excursion to Drottningholm and immerse yourself in a historical environment of premier worldwide class. The trifecta of the exotic Chinese Pavilion pleasure palace, the theater within the palace, and the opulent palace gardens makes a Drottningholm visit an unparalleled adventure. Drawing influence from a French model, Queen Hedvig Eleonora commissioned architect Nicodemus Tessin the Elder to construct the palace. It has since bore the imprint of various regal figures. The palace serves as the permanent residence for Their Majesties the King and Queen, with the southern wing of the palace dedicated for this purpose. The remaining palace and its grounds are accessible to the public throughout the year.
