We had fun, and everything was delicious. Ally was a lot of fun and very informative.
Stu was an awesome tour guide. Restaurants and food chosen were not something I would have normally gone for, so that in itself was an adventure. We got to meet the chefs and learn more about their inspirations for dishes. Not only was the food good, but we met some fabulous people and had a great time with them as well on the tour. Stu hands down made the tour. He is well versed in the food scene in Asheville and quite entertaining. He also provides history on Asheville, which was a bonus. Highly recommend the Brunch tour. Time well spent.
We had a great time on the tour. Stu was very knowledgeable about the city, chefs, and other notable things about places along our tour. I highly recommend this tour and we will be booking another tour in the future.
Amy was very knowledgeable of the places we visited and the building down town Asheville. The food and drinks were good and explained by the chief or Amy. most of all the group communicated with each other.
Okay, this is a MUST DO. The food scene in Asheville is so vibrant, it seems a shame to have to choose only one restaurant for brunch. But we had 6, plus coffee, plus a take home goodie stop! Our guide was great, giving us behind the scenes info about chefs, restaurants, other businesses, history, even a ghost story. Many of the chefs came out to talk about the inspiration for their dishes. And what dishes! Here's a sampling: Chicken and waffles with jamaican jerk jelly and julienned fresh apples. "Sloppy Jose" meatballs wrapped in hash browns with fresh house-made mozzarella melted on top. The most perfect shrimp and fresh grits (not dehydrated) you'd ever want. Blackberry/corn hoe cake with coffee butter and cayenne honey. Gourmet beef sliders and creative yeast donuts. Korean buffet. Beer-mimosa's, regular mimosas, coffee with Kahlua and vodka. I even left some out! tok about 3 hours and was fabulous throughout.
The restaurants and food were amazing. The knowledge and history and the explanations were lacking. Although it was enjoyable. The underground cafe was our favorite. Thank you!
Well where to I start... The Food was exceptional but the Tour Guide Stu Helm was amazing and the Downtown Facts and Knowledge Behind the Tour made it exceptional.. Making sure to send everyone on this Tour!
The brunch tour was AMAZING! Our guide Stu was super knowlegable about the food, restaurants, and the history of Asheville. We had a large variety of food and drinks. There was so much food I didn't need to eat the rest of the day! Highly recommend to anyone!
Wonderful time! The tour was well organized and great fun! Yummy food and great locations!
One of the best food tours we’ve been on and we’ve been to food tours in Paris, Bangkok and a number of other cities. Highly recommend!
Great tour and guide. I highly recommend it. Tried food and drinks and saw places I never would have on my own.
Thoroughly enjoyed this tour! Stu was excellent. Brought us to spots we would never have thought to go. Can’t wait to come back and take another tour.
Everything was outstanding!!
Paddy was a great food guide. He was well informed about the restaurants, the chefs, and the city! The food was amazing. I have sent the places we visited , as well as descriptions of the food we sampled, to a dozen different people and I just got home to Tallahassee. We had hamburger sliders, beef taco, fried jerk chicken on a waffle, homemade donuts, shrimp and grits, a Korean stone bowl, craft beers and mimosas, and a poached duck egg on potato cake and pork belly with succotash. f you're a foodie or interested in sampling fine foods, this is a fun and active eating experience. Highly recommend.
This food tour was absolutely fantastic. The stops were spaced out perfectly so that you had time between eating/drinking and Stu was an excellent tour guide. Very down-to-earth and obviously very passionate and knowledgeable. I would recommend this to a friend 10/10 times.
Everything was delicious! It was a TON of food! I think we were stuffed after the 4th stop! Thank you again!
Stu was fantastic, and all of the places we toured were very good. Mojo was our favorite!!!
