We had an amazing time!!
This is a fun experience that we all really enjoyed. The tour guide (I'm really sorry i can't remember her name) was very knowledgeable and looked after us well, setting a nice pace for us as beginners. Well worth getting up a bit earlier to avoid the sunshine later in the day. Thanks.
It was a fun experience. Beautiful morning when its not as hot. Easy to do and saw a lot of Austin. Our guide Jimmy was awesome.
We had a great tour with Jimmy on Friday morning. I would highly recommend Congress Kayak.
Jimmy was wonderful. We had a great time. We will be back for the evening tour to watch the bats.
My guide was very informative and fun to paddle the river with. thanks a bunch!
I really enjoyed my tour and my guide. He was knowledgedgable and enthusiastic. Definitely will recommend this tour to friends!
Great guide, cool info about the city, and a really enjoyable experience overall.
Our guide was absolutely fabulous! He told us all about the sites and history of the city and we just had a wonderful experience out on the water! We would recommend this highly to anyone who is new or old to the city. Thank you for the experience of a lifetime!
Great guide--personable, knowledgeable, good sense of humor. Location in Austin is great. Reasonable cost. Good equipment. Liked the option of one- and two-person kayaks as I could not have paddled as far as we did on my own.
Our guide, Jeff, provided lots of information about the areas we passed...the bat bridge, the library, Barton Springs, wildlife, etc. It was wonderful to be on the river to enjoy such a beautiful part of Austin.
Ben, our guide, was great. Very personable and knowledgeable. We had the whole lake to ourselves and it was so calm and relaxing. A great way to start our week off in Austin.
I did the tour with my family, who were visiting from Illinois. Jeff was a great tour guide...very fun and an interesting tour...I even learned a thing or two. The only suggestion I would have would be to wait until all of the people were closer together so everyone could hear what he was saying ... or perhaps get a speaker device (but that might be annoying). Thanks again...we all loved the tour.
The tour guide, Jeff was wonderful. Very passionate about paddling and a great conversationalist. We had a great time
AWESOME tour! Although I've lived in Austin for 7 years, it was fantastic to see the city from a different view.
Super friendly, very knowledgeable tour guide. Tour started late and ran long but was other wise great. I plan on taking the tour again soon!
Amazing experience!! Thank you very much!!
Very organized. Guide was great. Super fun time.
I was not expecting a very long tour, but this length was perfect! The guide was very friendly, easy to talk to and it was so nice she offered to take photos and send them to me. It would have been nice to hear more about the history about the area and about the natural surroundings: flora and fauna, but I was not disappointed. The kayak tour was a GREAT way to see a behind the scienes oof he great Austin's Colorado River! I will definitely recommend this company to others! Thank you!
It was fun to have a guided tour by kayak on Lady Bird Lake. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our tour guide Ben was very nice and answered all questions, he also was great at snapping pics for us. This is a fun way to take in Lady Bird Lake and learn more about the city of Austin. Highly recommend!
Our tour guide was nice and the tour was small, myself, my wife, and on other lady.
Enjoyable trip & good equipment.
It was fun and just enough "work" to make us feel like we got some exercise (and could therefore eat more lunch!). The information was great and the route very nice.
It was an interesting tour and we received excellent instruction on paddling prior to getting in the kayaks.
I can't say enough how happy we were with our experience! Special shout out to Bruno for being a really cool guy and awesome tour guide. Tell him that the Hables said thanks for the great tour AND that we tried his bbq recommendation :)
