Being in good physical shape and having swimming skills are advised. Clear Creek is characterized by its steep and narrow path, with this section featuring over a dozen rapids as the river descends approximately 75 feet per mile. Follow your guide’s instructions, hold onto your paddle, and prepare to get wet! This thrilling part of the river is Clear Creek’s most popular trip, offering continuous class III and IV rapids. Tackle rapids with names like Nomad, Fall River, Phoenix, Deliverance, and the class IV highlight, Outer Limits Rapid.
