Get off the beaten path and see a different side of the city! - Thoroughly enjoyed this tour with Hegoi! Even though the morning fog meant we couldn't see much much of the bay, Hegoi quickly pivoted and took us through the city's south western neighbourhoods instead, including a visit to a major sports complex where we tried our hands (quite literally) at pilota! Hegoi was very patient and generous with his time and knowledge of the local history. The e-bikes were comfortable and easy to ride, and since we didn't end up going up Monte Igueldo, it was a low-effort journey with little need for the batteries. Even if Monte Igueldo were included, I would say this tour is a great one for all ages and abilities. Highly recommend!

Be sure to follow all... - Be sure to follow all bike riding rules and instructions given prior to your start. The divided bike lanes can seem slim, so mind your space. The most enjoyable part of our tour was the education on the Basque region and San Sebastián from our guide Allain.

Awesome way to meet the city and country with a fun and spirited guide - Excellent bike tour and so glad we did it on Day 1 of our trip. Alain is one of the co-owners of the business and a really fun guide, sharing lots of interesting information (and strong opinions from a local) about Basque history, culture, and customs. The route covered a diverse range of landmarks and vantage points of the city (skipping only Old Town, where bikes aren’t allowed, and Centro area, where he suggested walking would be better to appreciate the buildings). Alain’s English was easy to understand, and he offered lively stories with interactive questions at each point. He welcomed our own questions throughout, and frequently asked our group questions back to make it feel more like a conversation. We learned about the background of the city, its neighborhoods, people, food, politics, sports, education, and more! The bikes were in good shape and easy to ride for guests of all ages and biking abilities, and Alain kept us confident and safe in navigating the sometimes busy bike lanes. Didn’t feel tiring at all and seemed the right amount of time to cover so much ground. Looking forward to our walking tour with the same operator to dive deeper into Old Town and Centro. Thanks, Alain and GoLocal for the trip and local resto recommendations.

Bike tours are the best way to see a city and this one with Colton as our guide was great! Friendly and Interesting! - Shout out to Colten and Go Local San Sebastián! We loved the e bike tour with Go Local. it’s the best way to see this place! we joined a small group led by friendly Colton who was very informative. lots of stops and interesting information to give a wider perspective of this beautiful city with the sun, sea and hills - The Basque influence is strong. We spent 4 days in this beautiful historic city. so much to see and taste! The food is amazing! Hot pintxos, cold pintxos, ice cream, Pastel Vasco almond tarts and lots of wine! A tour of the historic old town on foot is fascinating- beautiful buildings and lots of places to stop and eat. Highly recommended!

Bikes, rain, sun and handball - We really enjoyed our tour with Hego Despite some heavy downpours we managed to have a great experience. We learned about the history and heritage of San Sebastián, rode through one of the longest bike tunnels in Europe and even took in an unexpected game of basque hand ball! Throughly recommend

Great, entertaining bike tour through the city. - A very entertaining tour through San Sebastian on comfortable e-bikes. Our guide Colton was very knowledgeable, friendly and fun. Although it was very hot that day (37 C), the ride was relatively easy to do, especially after the explanation of the bikes and with the breeze as a result of the speed. We visited multiple parts of the city and saw some less obvious places. All in all certainly worthwhile booking.

An Absolutely Wonderful Tour!! - We had an absolutely wonderful time on our E bike tour! Our tour guide (who asked us to call him “P”) was amazing!! He spoke perfect English… and was quite funny and engaging! In our three hours together, we were able to see not only the major highlights of the city, but districts that we wouldn’t have seen on our own. We rode through a really long tunnel in the city that was an exciting experience… we didn’t even know it existed!! We felt so safe having our tour guide lead us through the bike lanes throughout the city. The bikes for wonderful!!! I’ve done many bike tours before, but as a short woman, I’ve always found the bikes to be very big and overwhelming for me. These bikes were so manageable! It was my friend’s first experience on an e-bike and she was very comfortable. After the tour, our leader took his time and went out of his way to make recommendations for restaurants, attractions, things to do, and even helped us plan a day trip to Biarritz. The office was very easy to locate. We would highly recommend this tour.!!!
