The picturesque old town (Parte Vieja) is completely packed with Pintxos bars — so many that knowing where to go and what to order can be completely overwhelming.
We will take you to the very finest pintxo bars that visitors are unlikely to discover on their own and we will suggest the best pintxo in each bar and the most suitable drink to accompany it, chosen from Cider, Txakoli (Basque white wine) or red wine.
From our meeting point we will visit the Old Town of San Sebastian where you will learn about Basque traditions and customs. You will visit bars off the normal tourist trail, eating and drinking like locals do.

Amazing Food Tour - This was one of the best culinary experiences I have ever had , Esky’s knowledge of everything Basque and Pintxos related made this a very memorable evening

Fantastic food tour 🥰 - It was just a beautiful experience.
We had a great group and Eske is an outstanding guide. Very sympathetic and with great tips for further stay. We can only strongly recommend this tour at the beginning of a visit to San Sebastian.
The food and drinks were great. Everything was freshly prepared and partly cooked only for our group or for Eske.
We would book the tour again anytime.

Highlight Tour - This is a fantastic food, wine and history tour. Our guide, Esky, had great knowledge and enormous energy. Recommend this tour when visiting San Sebastián.

Amazing food! More than a... - Amazing food! More than a guide, Eske’s a host to home city San Sebastián, connecting us to the history and culture of old town.

Highlight of our trip! - Eskerne’s pintxo tour in San Sebastián was hands down the coolest experience of our entire trip. From the moment we met her, her warmth, kindness, and infectious personality made us feel like we were exploring the city with an old friend. Her deep knowledge of the local food, culture, and hidden gems made every stop along the way unforgettable.
This wasn’t your typical tour—it was a unique, authentic, and immersive experience that gave us a true taste of San Sebastián. Don’t pass on this tour. It’s unlike any other we’ve done, and we can’t recommend it enough!

Awesome - Brilliant tour. Very accomodating to all tastes and interest levels. Eski was great!! we had some amazing food and she was particularly good at working with the bars and restaurants to ensure that our food was fresh every time!

Five stars isn’t enough: Discover San Sebastián is simply amazing! - From start to finish, our experience with Discover San Sebastián was simply gorgeous. What sets this tour apart is the personal touch. Eskerne (Esky) made the experience feel as it was curated just for us – relaxed, intimate, and full of genuine connection.
We explored the city’s hidden corners, soaked up its fascinating history, and got an authentic taste of local life. And the food – wow! Every pintxo bar Esky took us to was better than the last.
Highly recommended for anyone who wants more than just the typical sightseeing trip. This was the highlight of our time in the Basque region. Esky, we can’t wait to come back and do it all again!

Don't pinch the euros and book with Esky - We had one night in San Sebastian so we could not afford to search and wander for the right pintxos. So we booked with Esky. Esky was a fantastic tour guide tailoring our pintxos stops based on our food preferences. We has a great time with the other couple who participated on the tour with us. My teenage son got to experience new foods and learned how to pour a sidra inro a glass. Esky encouraged sharing and tasting while making sure the kitchen delivered the best pintxos. Nothing was served pre- made. It was either hot and fresh or it was not accepted by Esky. Sure you can good with a cheaper tour and go to all the tourist favorites but I feel booking with a local who will provide a more personal experience is worth the price

Great experience & guide with excellent food and drink. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting San Sebastián. - Just had a fabulous evening with Eskerne (Esky) from Discover San Sebastián. The three hour experience was very well paced, Esky was a very knowledgeable and helpful guide, the food and drink were excellent and we met some great people! What’s not to like!

Best of the Best - What a wonderful experience while in San Sebastian. The guide was wonderful, very charming, kind, sweet, and funny. Everyone in the group had a great time and even after the event ended weve emailed her a few times for recommendations and she has immediately responded. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour!
