Very glad we trusted Noel with our ancient Ireland tour - We needed to schedule our Newgrange tour on short notice, and Noel came through for us with less than a day's notice.
We had a great time learning about ancient Ireland, and we were especially grateful for Noel's ability to customize on the fly to give us the best tour possible. The Hill of Tara didn't make sense in the weather, so we went to the Hill of Slane and Monasterboice instead.
The hospitality and good company were a nice addition as well. Highly recommended!

If you wish you had family in Ireland to show you around, this is the tour for you! - Of our ten days in Ireland, the one we spent with Miriam of IrishTours365 was by far the most memorable and special. Miriam is a wealth of information and Irish lore, and on the drive to Newgrange (which was absolutely incredible), she painted a picture of what it's like to grow up and raise a family in Ireland.
We were so lucky to have her insights as we visited the high crosses of Monasterboice, the majestic Hill of Slane, and the magical Hill of Tara. We especially loved hearing stories about fairies and banshees on the drives from site to site.
Miriam charmed our kids (an 11-year-old daughter and 14-year-old son) and took really beautiful family photos -- a major plus for moms like me who often find ourselves behind the camera and in none of the pictures! Miriam made our New York City-based family feel completely at home.

The right guide & tour to kick off our Ireland vacation! - Noel was a great guide for a group of 3 couples. He showed up on time, was engaging, had a great sense of humor, and was very knowledgeable about our destinations -- which were Newgrange, the Hill of Tara and Slane Abbey. He was always offering to take group photos in each location and he did them well. It was a full-day tour, but we were never bored and so glad to have selected the right guide!

Excellent New Grange experience - This experience was amazing. Definitely a highlight of our visit. Miriam was our guide. She was excellent and so knowledgeable about New Grange and the entire area. We could not have asked for a better experience to visit the tombs and she also took us to see really cute sheep and goats:)

Newgrange - This was such an interesting and informative trip. Noel did an excellent job of explaining the background of NewGrange and made sure we had all we needed to get into the facility. He was also very flexible and took us to at least area that was not on the least. I heartily recommend him and this tour.

The Oklahomans - Noel was awesome to be with for 6 hours. He was extremely knowledgeable on Irish history and drove the vehicle well. I would recommend Noel for anyone who wants to take a day trip.

BEST Personalized Newgrange Tour Day - I highly recommend this private tour and cannot say enough about our guide, Noel! He was very personable, communicated with me ahead of our trip, and went out of his way to personalize our tour day and make it work for our family’s interests and needs. Pick up and drop off were right at our hotel and, following our fascinating Newgrange tour, Noel personalized the remainder of our day to suit our family. He gave us options and we chose to stop at a castle and a charming seaside town. Truly a perfect day that would not have happened with a big group tour.

Ask for Miriam! - Our guide Miriam was a dream come true. The day she set for us was perfectly orchestrated. Timely pick up, fantastic information, very comfortable vehicle, and the most thoughtful lovely treatment. Miriam even captured beautiful candid photos. I'll be asking for Miriam by name next time - pure magic.

Excellent private tour to Newgrange - Miriam was our guide and driver for the day and she was amazing!
Our visit started with a stop at Boyne Valley Wools, where I got some lovely handmade Irish gifts. We then went to Monasterboice Tower, the Hill of Slane and then on to Newgrange and Knowth Passage Tombs. Miriam was knowledgeable about the whole area and made sure we were on schedule and got us to Newgrange for their tour on time. We so appreciate her team’s diligence in getting tickets for the Newgrange site, as we were unaware that it requires reservations well ahead.

Complete rip-off! Close to $800 for 40 minute uber ride. NOT a private tour. - The worst rip-off I have ever encountered. I use Viator all the time and book all sorts of tours. I would rate almost all of them highly. However DO NOT book this - it is a complete waste of money. To be very clear the actual site is tremendous and well worth doing. However, we essentially paid $750 for a 40-minute uber ride to the site. Our driver was lovely but she sat in the parking lot for 4 hours while we did the tour at the side (which we paid for separately). It was NOT a private tour. It was a ride to the site. She took us after to another site with ruins but we were rushed the whole time (maybe had about 30 minutes to walk around) because she had to get back. I could not believe how much I paid. You can do the same thing by simply taking public transportation, booking a bus, or taking an uber for hundreds of dollars less. They should be ashamed.
