- Hyeonchungsa Shrine - Hyeonchungsa Shrine commemorates Korean Admiral Yi Sun-sin, renowned for his victories against the Japanese navy during the Imjin Wars of the Joseon dynasty. The original shrine, built from donations, remains on the grounds as a small structure. The new shrine, which houses the admiral’s portrait, is situated atop a hill amidst a meticulously maintained lawn. This site offers visitors insight into Korean history, especially during the beautiful Spring blossom season.
