A Serene Start to the Adventure

As a marine biologist, my travels often take me to the world’s most stunning water-based destinations. Meanwhile, some of my fellow travelers opted for a boat ride, experiencing the Wall from a different angle, and they returned with tales of its majestic beauty from the water.

A Perfect Day with Friends

At noon, we gathered under the shade of a tree by the lake, just as Cici had suggested. We spread out a picnic mat and shared snacks, laughter, and the morning’s photos. It was a moment of pure joy and camaraderie, enhanced by the stunning backdrop of the Great Wall and the tranquil lake.

In the afternoon, we walked along the boardwalk, taking in the serene beauty of the surroundings. The gentle lapping of the water against the shore was a soothing soundtrack to our conversations and group photos. Cici’s genuine warmth and attention to detail made the day feel special, and her ability to capture the perfect group photo was the cherry on top.
