  Visitors are required to enter through the south gate (Meridian Gate) and exit via the north gate (Shenwu Gate). Please ensure you have the passport used for booking and proceed directly to the Meridian Gate of the Palace Museum. Simply scan your passport to gain entry without the need for a tour guide.

Options with a Tour Guide
Please be punctual at the designated meeting point. The guide will escort you to the Meridian Gate entrance, providing insights into the stories behind the Palace Museum, including aspects of traditional Chinese architecture and the last emperor. The guide will also pause at several prime photo spots for picture-taking.

Tiananmen Square Ticket Options
There are four entrances to the square, with the northeast entrance being closest to Wangfujing. Morning tickets are available from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm, and afternoon tickets from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. You can walk from here to the Meridian Gate of the Palace Museum. This is a one-way walk from south to north.

• The morning tickets are only valid before 12:00 noon, and the afternoon tickets only allow entry into the Forbidden City after 11:00 am. • Please provide the passport numbers, names and nationalities of all participants. Your passport will be verified on the day of entry into the Forbidden City.
• Children over 120 cm are required to purchase adult tickets, and those under six years old are exempt from tickets.
