Laudat - We traverse a lush tropical landscape, filled with tree ferns and towering trees, accompanied by the symphony of the mountain’s whistles. The scenery opens up, and the flora transforms as we ascend above the Valley of Desolation. It’s unmistakable that something extraordinary is occurring here… So we descend: the ground appears animated, with boiling water and smoke rising from all around, and the hues are astonishing. We are invited to indulge in natural steam baths, before witnessing the world’s largest boiling lake, where the water’s temperature hovers around 80
C. Our journey from the Valley of Desolation concludes as we make our way back to the parking area.

Boiling Lake Tour - Very nice excursion to Boiling Lake with two children (8 and 12 years old) We were very well guided by Nathalie and Carline (both for safety and information about the surrounding nature).

A difficult but professional and safe hike - It takes a good physical condition to approach this hike of nearly 8 hours that puts the legs to the test.
It goes up and down steeply most of the way.
Nath is a knowledge well and safety is her priority. The place is breathtaking and we do not regret the efforts.
Easily take 2 litres per person and a sports snack to face the day serenely and avoid cramps.

Hiking boiling lake - Hiking to the boiling lake is just magical! Accompanied by our guide Nathy, we passed in the middle of the rainforest, then on the mountain ridges before reaching the valley of desolation with the fumaroles of sulphur and the boiling lake which is very impressive! The landscapes are sublime and our guide took us swimming in the hot baths of the various waterfalls.. unforgettable experience for those who love to observe nature 😇

Nice experience with Nathalie, - I went alone with Nathalie to discover Boiling Lake. The road is an opportunity to discover the rainforest, offering very beautiful views of the island and its peaks, the ocean and see maybe even the surrounding islands for the lucky ones?. It is a physical hike, alternating several ascents and descents that we did in a little more than 7 hours, with a break to eat and swim in the hot baths of the Valley of Desolation. Nathalie was very accommodating from start to finish, to give me information about the island and possible activities, to convey me to the beginning of the hike, to share her passion... A treat! I highly recommend:)
