- EAST-WEST / WEST-EAST by Richard Serra - Renowned artist Richard Serra has contributed the remarkable East-West/West-East sculpture to the desert landscape, bringing art to the public. Since its installation in 2014, East-West/West-East has become a well-known landmark in Qatar. This stunning sculpture, located in the Brouq nature reserve, stretches over a kilometre and consists of four steel plates, each standing over fourteen metres tall.
- Zekreet Beach - Visitors can also explore Zekreet Beach, a popular spot for kite surfing and parasailing enthusiasts.
- Zekreet Beach - The area is distinguished by its unique landscape of white cliffs. The shape and color of the landscape result from the erosion of soft limestone layers, while the wind-sculpted white cliffs and unusual geological formations, such as mushroom-shaped hills, make the area a distinctive and special part of Qatar.

Amazing experience! - Excellent! Faisal was amazing, very polite and knowledgeable. The stories he shared with us, the wonderful desert landscape and his comfortable car made the car journeys more enjoyable.

West of Qatar Day Trip - We had a great time with Mohammed Zubair :) we saw amazing places and had enough time to enjoy the views and take pictures. Mohammed explained us a lot about the spots on our way and shared great tips for our next day exploration of Doha and Qatar! Highly recommend this trip with Mohammed Zubair!

Western Qatar Country - Excellent half-day tour of Western Qatar that included the Mushroom top rocks, East-West West-East monoliths, Zekreet Fort ruins. We also did a stop at the camel race track for a quick look around. Our guide, Zubair was engaging and well informed about the area and the sites we visited.

Western Qatar adventure - This was a last-minute travel decision made after seeing photos of Richard Serra’s land art and the Zekreet rock formations. The tour did not disappoint. Muhammad Yasin did a wonderful job touring us to this fascinating and underappreciated destination.

Serra monoliths steal the show - Driver Muhammad was a great companion as I was his only guest on the tour! It was good to get out of the city and get a feel for the landscape. The mushroom rocks were pretty cool, but it was the Serra monoliths that stole the show. Had a lot of fun with Muhammad taking some quirky photos. A terrific diversion and well worth the effort.

A different side of Qatar - An interesting trip out of Doha, with the highlight being Richard Serra's amazing East-West / West-East art installation. It was also worth seeing the striking landscape around Mushroom Rock. All-in-all, we enjoyed our time with our guide Muhammad, who was knowledgeable, polite and patient. We felt in very safe hands.
