An Unforgettable Day with Our Guide Adil – What an Experience! - Today we had a truly fantastic day exploring Qatar, and that’s largely thanks to our guide and driver, Adil. From the very first moment, we felt welcomed and completely at ease with him. He’s not only professional and knowledgeable but also incredibly friendly, approachable, and has a great sense of humor. Adil really took the time to tailor the tour to our interests. We got to see so much of the country — from the famous highlights to hidden gems that you wouldn’t easily discover on your own. At every stop, he shared interesting and insightful background stories, which made the experience even more enriching. What we appreciated most was the relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere Adil created. We didn’t just see a lot — we laughed a lot too. It truly felt like spending the day with a friend rather than just a guide. The whole tour was well-organized, smooth, and full of variety. We look back on this day with a big smile and would book Adil again in a heartbeat on our next visit to Qatar. If you want to truly experience the country in a fun and personal way, Adil is the one to go with — highly recommended!

Day in the desert - Great trip. Saw heaps out in desert. Old ruins, forts, camel track and rock formations. Full day of adventure. A little crowded with 6 put into car. Us 4 plus we picked up 2 others. Made it tough on driver to communicate with all in the car. He was a very good driver and took some great photos for us too.

Great to see outside of Doha - It was a great way to see parts of the country outside of Doha. There rock formations were a stand out part for me.

Unique Tour if Youre done with traditional city tours - This is my 2nd review as the 1st was done on Viator. I had given a very unfavorable review. The operator was extremely apologetic and wanted to make it right and was genuinely concerned that we enjoyed our visit to their country. That says a lot. I would definitely give them a 2nd chance if we come back someday.

Interesting and Informative Tour - This trip provides the opportunity to see Qatar outside of Doha and learn about Qatari history and society. Highlights of the tour were the four desert monoliths and the camel race track. Our guide Assim, was most informative and helpful. Travel between locations took up to an hour at times, but the air-conditioned vehicle was cool and comfortable. The itinerary did not include a lunch stop, but Assim kindly arranged a late afternoon stop to facilitate this prior to the conclusion of the tour. I would recommend prospective participants bring their own lunch/snack provisions.

Qatar or Bust - Tariq did a great job showing us the sites. Long day but worthwile. Highlights were camel racing track and the Arabian horse stables. Nice touch? Whilst we were exploring the old village Tariq went and bought a can of tuna for the hungry cat without anyone knowing. Only a few of us saw him feeding ir - my wife. Saw the photos. Anyone who shows that care for an animal is a good bloke in my eyes. Well played Tariq

I suffered a loss because of this. - I recently traveled with Qatar Airways on a flight from Amritsar to Doha and then onward to Montreal. During the journey, our homemade desi ghee, which was safely packed and completely fit for travel, was removed by the airline staff at Amritsar airport. This caused us a loss of around ₹10,000. It was very disappointing that such clean, homemade food items, which pose no threat, were not allowed to be carried. We did not expect this kind of treatment from a reputed airline like Qatar Airways. I hope in the future, the airline provides clear and transparent information about such restrictions in advance, so that passengers can avoid such losses and inconvenience.

Long, disappointing day - While the pictures are accurate, they don't mention that you are driving a long, long time in between sites. Our driver was not very communicative, and there was nothing extraordinary about the commentation. He spent most of the day talking on the phone. Honestly, I have no real idea what we even saw, let alone the history of it other than reading about it on the tour explanation. And while the driver was a nice guy and skilled driver, he was texting and driving a great deal of the time at an insane speed... up to 170 kph both on and off road! I book with Viator all the time, and this was the first really disappointing one that we have gone on.
