• National Museum of Qatar - Located in Doha, the National Museum of Qatar opened its current building to the public on March 28, 2019, replacing the original structure from 1975. Designed by architect Jean Nouvel, the building draws inspiration from the desert rose crystal found in Qatar. The museum also encompasses Sheikh Abdullah bin Jassim Al Thani’s Palace, a symbol of Qatari national identity. As of 2013, Sheikha Amna serves as the museum’s director.

• Souq Waqif - Souq Waqif (Arabic: سوق واقف) is a traditional marketplace in Doha, Qatar, offering a variety of traditional garments, spices, handicrafts, and souvenirs. The souq also features numerous restaurants and shisha lounges. Originally built between the late 19th and early 20th centuries in a traditional Qatari architectural style, the market was renovated and restored in 2004 to preserve its historical significance. It is likely the only traditional souq remaining in the Gulf region.
