Beautiful day on a slightly windy Loch Ness - A very enjoyable cruise with helpful staff and a genial commentator. Queueing system was not remotely confusing and everyone got on the boat safely and peacefully.

Excellent experience - It’s a beautiful trip, wonderful views and any visitors should take the time to listen to the commentary. It was very informative and not intrusive. An excellent all round package, very comfortable with a good cafe bar on board.

Graceful and outstanding - My party got delayed and half of us RAN to the boat literally two minutes before departure. The other half didn't show, so we regretfully waved as the boat started to leave. Then our party pulled up, and the boat halted departure to let us aboard. THANK YOU Jacobite Cruises for waiting and being so kind about it!
The cruise was wonderful, and the tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Throughout the tour he made it a point to stop and say hello to every single guest and ask if they had any questions.
Completely lived up to our expectations.

Loch Ness Cruise and Urquhart Castle View - Wonderful cruise!
Good commentary throughout and great service. Friendly and welcoming.
Left the doc promptly at start time, recommend arriving early.
Inside of the boat is beautiful and still provides awesome views, kept the seniors of our group nice and warm.
Overall great experience!

Early afternoon cruise - We had a lovely cruise. The only thing that could have been better is if the guide would have filled in more history in between the highlights.
The check in lady was so informative and fun. Loved her fun nature! What a great asset to your staff! All in all a lovely day- the weather even cooperated 👏

200 people rammed on one boat - We took the 2-hour Contemplation tour on May 22, 2026. There were about 200 people on the tour, and not enough seats for everyone. The tour was conducted in both Spanish and English, and about one third of the passengers spoke Spanish. Unfortunately, the guide spoke almost constantly over a very loud speaker, which made the experience noisy and uncomfortable.
Overall, the boat trip felt overcrowded, loud, and not authentically Scottish. I would not recommend this tour.
