Even if you don’t like food, do this your. If you do, be prepared to enter foodie heaven. - This was truly a phenomenal tour in every way, shape, and form. It was all thanks to our tour guide, Daniel - he was extremely knowledgeable, generous, hospitable, and charming, showing us all the hidden food spots in HCMC that we would have never found otherwise. Every spot that we went was truly delicious and authentic. Doing this tour walking was a great choice as you get to see so much of the city up close and see the daily lives of the locals. Furthermore the small group aspect meant we were afforded more opportunities to interact with our guide and bond with fellow group members. Overall, this was a delicious and fun tour, we absolutely got our money’s worth. Would 100% recommend if you’re a foodie or even if you’re not, genuinely an amazing tour.

Authentic and amazing guide - Warning! You will be seriously disappointed and miss the best food experience ever if you do not sign up for this tour. Fabulous, fun, friendly and knowledgeable local guide. Nothing was too much trouble, went out of his way for us to try authentic food and experience HCMC hidden alley ways and street food - ask for DANIEL. He’s the best.

A Foodie’s Dream Come True – The Highlight of Our Saigon Trip! - If you only do one tour in Ho Chi Minh City, make it this one! We booked the Small-group Foodie by Night tour hoping to try some good local food, but this experience completely exceeded our expectations. Our guide (ask for Manh !!!) was an absolute star. His English was fantastic, and he was incredibly passionate about Vietnamese cuisine - especially coffee !! He didn't just take us to eat; he explained some history behind every dish and showed us how to eat like a local. The food stops were incredible—places we never would have found on our own. We sampled everything from the most delicious Banh Tet Chuoi (sticky rice wrapped in banana leaves) and authentic Banh Mi to an amazing Vietnamese BBQ feast that I’m still dreaming about. Manh also made sure we had plenty of cold drinks and adult beverages throughout the night. It wasn't just about the food, though. We walked through the different districts and seeing the flower market at night gave us a real feel for the city's energy without the stress of navigating it ourselves. Come hungry (seriously, skip lunch!), and get ready for an unforgettable evening. This was hands down the best value for money we spent in Vietnam. Highly recommended!

Meh, nothing special……. - We did a private tour during the Tet holiday week so some of the stops were closed when we arrived so on the fly changes had to be made. We wondered, if this was known, perhaps the operator shouldn’t have offered the tour at all? Flower street was closed down so we basically just walked through some dark side roads with all the shops closed down. We found the tour wasn’t anything special. 4 food stops with plenty of walking the back areas of the city. Interesting to see but nothing really too exciting as most street vendors were closed. A little pricey for the tour considering the timing. Perhaps it’d be better outside of the Tet but we wouldn’t have been disappointed if we didn’t do this.
