Nice local tour - It's a nice local tour anchored by two key locations and several other stops. Locations aren't too far apart so the amount of walking isn't bad. Recommend doing this tour on the weekend. Easier to get nice photos due to less local traffic congestion. Highly recommend it.

Lovely experience, great guide, great shots - Huang introduced us to some of the local period external architecture, followed by a trip to a local building with lovely archways/scenes, and with some very interesting features including stunning local period coffee shops. We then continued to a stunning temple and a great market/street photography location. All the while, great insights from Huang on some interesting shots/vision, and I experienced the tour with a great group of South Korean fellow photographers that were very happy to pose at some of the locations (along with Huang). Very happy with the shots I got and overall a lovely experience. Huang is a very genuine lovely person with an obvious passion for photography.

beyond my expectation - After the experience, only one question I have got : is Fred is a photographer or a tour guide ? Not only teaching the shooting skills, but also introducing me the story of the building, it is amazing. Besides, he can use a simple method to guild you taking good photos, lots of things I took from the trip. Thanks Fred

Perfect end to my trip to Vietnam - I'm very much an amateur photographer but I had a fantastic couple of hours and saw some amazing locations in Ho Chi Minh City on this tour. Our guide Trung was so helpful, giving great tips and advice throughout the tour, to get the best out of my camera. Thanks.

Best photo walk ever - This tour is a must do for everybody who enjoys doing photography. My host was Kevin. After a friendly chat around a cup of coffee he guided me to places where only local people go - a charming building with cocktail bars, residential areas, markets and a temple. He knows the area and the people very well and I could learn a lot from his suggestions on camera settings and composition. This tour was definitively a highlight of my trip to Ho Chi Minh City

Inspired - What a fabulous tour. I learned so much of what I can achieve with my camera and got so many tips I now look at composing my photos so differently. Thoroughly recommend to anyone who wants to just “point and shoot”

Saigon Street Photography Tour - One of the most amazing experiences of all my travels around the world! This is a must do when you go to Saigon!! Trung Del was an amazing historian, teacher and of course photographer! Very humble but he is awesome! Off the beaten path with hidden gems along the way! I even photobombed a wedding shoot! Pics taken with my iPhone 13 (don’t judge I hate upgrading). If I could rate higher than a 5, I would!! Add this to your itinerary, you won’t regret it!

Must Do Photo Tour - Fantastic Tour. We were a family of 4 ranging from amateur to advanced. Fred had something to offer each of us. I definitely moved out of my comfort zone both in photography and city exploration. The tour starts at a cafe - you then progress through different city scapes from back alley ways to major streets a temple and even some residential spaces. Each offering a unique opportunity. With Freds guidance I noticed my 15 yo sons photos significantly progress. This is not just a photography tour- there is a bit quirky culture and history thrown in. Not to mention Freds rapport with some of the locals which lends itself to fantastic photo opportunities for his guests. This tour is a must for anyone interested in street photography.

Witty, Insightful this tour brings Saigon’s History and Streets to Life - The Saigon Street Photography Experience was a highlight of my trip. Fred was knowledgeable, practical, and refreshingly humorous. His depth of local knowledge meant every stop had a story, and going down hidden alleys or lovely quarter you would never even dream of going down on my own, with the perfect balance of history, culture, and street life for both learning and capturing great shots. And the coffee spots were great. If you want local insight and stunning photos, this is a must.
