Mekong river tour was the strongest ✌️✌️ - I joined because I wanted to go to the Mekong River! The hotel was in the 1st district, so he came to meet me right in front of me. The moving car is also comfortable. Coconut candy factory, temple, place where fruit can be eaten, lunch, all were comfortable with Vinh showing us ☺️☺️ Touring the Mekong was fun, like a jungle cruise. The tour guide, vinh, will do all the tipping, whatever you don’t understand in words, and take photos 🩷

A good day trip - I booked this trip with the smaller tour group, setting off at about 7.45 from the tour office. The journey was about one and a half hours to the Mekong. The highlight of the day was taking the small river craft through the waterways. The itinerary was pretty good, several trips across the river to the various activity sites like the candy making area and the lunch spots. The lunch was of good quality, with fresh fish and other dishes. Our guide DAT spoke really good English, and said he used to teach it before becoming a guide. He was very helpful and cheerful throughout the whole day.

Good locations but inauthentic trip - The whole trip wasn't bad, we got to taste lots of good food and listen to local music. However, the whole experience just felt inauthentic. I felt like cattle being moved around from location to location which took the local charm away. Also on almost every stop people were selling you things or asking for tips but I guess that's one way to survive.

Great Tour - The tour was great - well run, organized, etc. I loved the boat trip on the Mekong. Plus we got to see a Buddhist pagoda and listen to traditional music and bike ride. i took off one star because...the whole excursion is setup for tourists, and everything is ... touristy. Nothing wrong with that - just not my thing to have it be so inorganic. For example, the paddle boat through a Mekong tributary was actually a loop where the paddlers are paid per "lap."

Disappointing tour - This tour was disappointing and felt like a tourist conveyor belt. I imagine if you travelled further into the Mekong Delta it might be more interesting. There was pressure throughout to tip and pay extra for items and parts of the tour. If this had been communicated beforehand it would have been helpful.

Spend whole day to see Mekong for 1,5h - For us it was a waste of time and money. The tour is focused on places full of tourist where you should buy something. The actual delta visit is the motorboat trip to the 2 big nearby islands and then the rowing boat with 4 people through straight and short canal which is a part of the island and it lasts 10 minutes. You go boat to boat as it is very crowded by other groups. At every point of your trip you are asked to buy sth or give a tip. Tip you driver, tip your rower, tip a „local family” for singing and serving fruits, tip a lady with snake. The pagoda stop was nice and worth seeing. The guide is nice and speaks good english. Your full day tour will be: 50% - bus both way 30% - stops for souvenirs, coconut sweets, dinner (drinks not included), photo with snake, etc. 15% - motorboat from tourist dock to the islands 5% - rowing boat with 10-15 min actually on the boat

Tourist trap - One of the absolute worst tourist traps I've managed to walk into. Absolutely crazy poor coordination and no information about anything! We were first at a temple, had to google what it was called and didn't get any information from the guide. Then we went on to the boat, which was one of probably 3000 boats that would shovel tourists out to an island, the name of which I still haven't googled. There we would first listen to traditional music and taste fruit. It was nice, until they started getting sick: if you're happy and you know it clap your hands. Not sure if it actually counts as traditional Vietnamese music. Then we were driven by golf cart to where we were supposed to paddle a boat, so I can't say enough about how bad it was! I am attaching photos of the crowd, they were bumping into each other and competing for space in the small canal, so it was far from an idyllic experience! After that we were taken by boat to some place where we tasted honey tea and of course they wanted to sell it to us. After that we went to the lunch restaurant, which was a nice place and fun to try some of their food. Then it was just the journey home. I unfortunately do NOT recommend this tour!
