A full day to remember! - We really enjoyed this tour! The combination of kayaking down the river and cycling through the countryside enabled us to venture into places that we wouldn't have gone into otherwise. As advertised, it is a genuine experience that is off the beaten track and does not feel "touristy" at all. Do not let the price put you off, you get what you pay for and it is absolutely worthy. It is long, physical, and extremely rewarding. Truly exceeded our expectation. Our guide Quang did an excellent job, he is a very nice, helpful and thourough young man, and his hard work made this a day to remember.

A glimpse into the local culture - Truly a unique experience of the local culture. Our guide Quang was fantastic sharing his knowledge and open to answering any questions. An enjoyable day of learning, biking & kayaking. This is a great trip to take after sightseeing in Saigon/HCM.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An unforgettable Mekong Delta experience with Lee – highly recommended! - We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Countryside Adventures, made truly special by our guide, Lee. From the very beginning, Lee was punctual and professional, picking us up right on time from our hotel in Saigon and setting the tone for a smooth, well-organized day. The Mekong Delta experience was beautifully curated. We first visited a local market, which was such an authentic way to see how locals trade and go about their daily lives. From there, we had an incredible kayaking experience through the mangroves, which was peaceful, scenic, and unlike anything we’d done before. Our boat captain was wonderful and even let us take the wheel, which was a lot of fun. His wife was incredibly warm and welcoming, offering us fresh coconut water and homemade rice wine at their home — a genuine cultural moment that felt very personal and special. After kayaking, we went on a bicycling tour through the Mekong villages, and the route was stunningly scenic. Along the way, we were lucky enough to witness a local Vietnamese wedding, which added an unexpected and memorable highlight to the day. Lunch was a delicious local noodle soup, freshly prepared by locals using local ingredients — simple, authentic, and full of flavor. Throughout the trip, Lee was extremely accommodating, constantly checking in on us, sharing insightful context about the region and culture, and happily taking plenty of photos for us. His warmth, knowledge, and attention to detail truly elevated the experience. If you’re looking for an authentic, immersive, and beautifully run Mekong Delta tour, I cannot recommend Countryside Adventures and Lee highly enough. This was easily one of the highlights of our Vietnam trip.

Amazing local and sporting experience - It was an amazing day! We were lucky enough to be just the 2 of us and we got Lee as a guide, he is a machine, super friendly and helpful, good conversation and answered all the questions we had. The tour itself was great, between the boat ride, kayak and bike we didn't want it to end! It was also a food tour because where we went we tasted local food and it was all delicious and we met many locals who always welcomed us with a smile and giving us more food and drink! We tried some coconuts at the captain's house that were at another level of good! We want to repeat but I will do some tour other days, super recommended!!

A fantastic day trip, well worth the money - We really enjoyed this trip, it was a great opportunity to get out of the city and experience the peace of the Mekong delta. Our guide Quang was excellent and made sure we had everything we need the whole trip. We had a lot of fun, ate some fantastic food and enjoyed meeting the locals. The bike riding was flat so relatively easy even in the heat. The kayaking and boat ride was also very enjoyable. Overall a great day trip that I would definitely recommend.

Escape from HCMC - The tour was great - we got to kayak and bike in and around town where most tourists don’t go - so that was a nice break from HCMC

Small villiage experience - Very good trip. Tour guide Henry was very knowledgeable and attentive and provided a great experience for everyone on the tour. Henry was great at building the energy but also at reading when everyone was tired and wanted to rest on the bus. Kayaking was really fun, but for me the bike riding around the river was the most beautiful element. It is a pretty decently long bike ride so be prepared! We went to small places with no other tourists and got to see how local people live, so the tour lives up to its promises completely. Would recommend for anyone wanting to get away from the usual tourist activities on the Mekong.

Mekong Delta tour was a blast - Wonderful tour. We kayaked, visited an amazing market, had an authentic lunch and had a fantastic bike ride. Quang was an excellent guide. Highly recommend.
