Embark on a 2-hour drive from Saigon to My Tho City, renowned for its vibrant orchard gardens and traditional folk music. Enjoy a relaxing cruise on the Tien River to view four islets, each symbolizing a mythical creature from Southeast Asia: Dragon, Kirin, Tortoise, and Phoenix. At Kirin islet, explore a honey bee farm and a coconut candy workshop, where you can sample local delicacies and observe the handmade candy-making process. Stroll through the orchard gardens to savor seasonal tropical fruits and enjoy folk music. Unwind on a rowing boat cruise through a mangrove palm canal, then continue your journey with a horse-drawn carriage ride through the village, experiencing 19th-century local travel. Day 2 - Ben Tre - Can Tho - Sai Gon
Mekong River - On the second day, choose between two meeting times with your guide: 5 AM or 7 AM. If you opt for 5 AM, breakfast will be served after returning to your hotel from the floating market. If you select 7 AM, have breakfast before meeting the guide. Although Cai Rang Floating Market operates all day, the best time to experience its vibrant atmosphere is around 6 AM. Cruise along the Hau River from Ninh Kieu Wharf. Sample tropical fruits or enjoy a hot rice noodle soup for a light breakfast. Visit a chewy noodle workshop to learn about various Vietnamese noodles.
On the return journey to Saigon, stop in Ben Tre province, known as the coconut kingdom, for a 7-10 km bike ride. Cycle through tropical fruit gardens and mangrove palm landscapes.
