Fantastic experience! - I rarely write reviews but our tour guide Hanna made this day an unforgettable experience! She communicated with us days before the tour via WhatsApp and was waiting for us on the dock at the planned time. Hanna and the driver did a fantastic job getting us to all the sights around HCMC, it was VIP service as we were dropped at the “front door” everywhere we went. We also went to a great local restaurant for lunch - a real treat.
I do need to mention Xuan, his response to all our communications before the trip were impressive. Any question we had was answered almost immediately via email.
The entire experience from booking to our final “good bye” exceeded all of our expectations. We’re were a group of 3 couples and everyone is still talking about our experience with Hanna.

Three wonderful tour days that gave us the true taste of life, the culture and the beautiful people of Vietnam. - We along with 8 other Princess Cruise Diamond Princess passengers just had an amazing 3 tour days with Xuan “Soon-ee”.
He gave us a wide look at Vietnam and the lives of it’s people from the big city, Ho Chi Minh City to a truly lovely vacation spot Hội An, and the countryside including small villages, farms, local crafts, and rice fields.
The transportation at each site was a very comfortable van that was easy to get in and out of (all of us were over 65) from the US, Australia and Canada.
He selected excellent local restaurants for us.
We felt he gave us a true taste of life and the beautiful people of Vietnam.
Above all else was his wonderful personality.
We would highly recommend Xuan and would certainly contact him should we return to Vietnam.

Fantastic two days touring with Xuan - Our two days with Xuan were the highlight of our Asia holiday. He is exceptional. Pre tour communication was excellent, his written and spoken English is outstanding. He went out of his way to ensure our tours were tailored to our requirements. He really cares . I cannot speak highly enough of Xuan. I never thought I would eat Mudskipper, it tastes like chicken!

Awesome Saigon city tour! - Our tour guide, Martin, and his driver were prompt in picking us up for our Ho Chi Minh City tour. It started in the early afternoon after lunch, and we visited many markets, temples, and highlights of the city. As he was a walker just like we enjoy, we walked over 5 miles during the day and evening. In fact, we walked back to the ship in the evening, which made it even more special, seeing all of the nightlife and vibrant energy the city and people have to offer. Martin had a lot of energy and was articulate and thorough answering our questions and explaining the Vietnam culture. We learned about current customs/traditions as well as historical perspectives, all in a way that was easy for us to understand. Martin purchased small gifts for us, and we tasted different types of foods along the way. All in all, it was a fantastic tour that we recommend. In fact, Martin took us to the CuChi I'll be a few minutes before tunnels the second day, and I will talk about that in a separate review.

Ho Chi Minh Day tour - Xuan Le re-designed our Ho Chi Minh tour after the ship docked a little late than expected. Fantastic day!! Chinese temple, Rickshaws through China town & yummy Pho Ga at a local eatery for lunch. Could not fault the service from the first time touching base with Xuan to the end of the tour - exemplary!! And the driver of our van was excellent too! Highly recommend!

Great tours in Ho Chi Minh City & Hoi An - We found Tours with Xuan via Cruise Critic and when Xuan was already booked for days we were in Vietnam he set us with Hannah / Han in Hi Chi Minh City and Mr Lap in Hoi An / Danang. Our tours with them were the highlights of our trip!
Hannah organized rickshaw rides through the chaos of Ho Chi Minh City which were absolutely crazy but the single most memorable thing we did! She took us for fabulous Vietnamese coffees at a very special place. She was super personable and provided lots of information everywhere we went.
In Danang / Hoi An I started getting a cold so decided to just do Hoi An. Mr Lap is an absolute professional- his English is amazing, and he really educated us on the history of the area. In Hoi An he took us to the most interesting houses that are also the family’s businesses, and also the most fabulous coffee house tucked back in a small street- it was a “if you know you know” spot for sure.
Both guides were accompanied by drivers who did a great job and the vans were very comfortable.
Thank you Xuan, Hannah & Mr Lap- you made our time in Vietnam very special!

Xuan is SPECTACULAR! - Xuan is SPECTACULAR! He is highly knowledgeable, loves his city, family, and country, has loads of energy, and is warm, funny, and simply delightful.
I am nearing the end of 28 days of cruising Southeast Asia and this tour was among the absolute best of the entire trip. This is my SECOND tour of Ho Chi Minh City and there is no comparison between the first tour I had that was part of a large group and this one. Smaller group tours -- and with Xuan if you are lucky enough to get him -- are the way to go.

Xuan and the driver Mr.... - Xuan and the driver Mr. Tuan were excellent. The car was clean and new. Xuan the guide spoke strong English and was very knowledgeable.

Perfect Day in Ho Chi Minh - We did a private tour day tour from our cruise of Ho Chi Mihn with Mr. Martin and our family (parents and 3 teens). The tour was amazing. Everything was smooth, communication was excellent. Mr. Martin struck a perfect balance of tour guide explanation and letting us have some time to explore on our own. The highlight was definitely the Rickshaw ride - it lets you experience firsthand the chaos of Ho Chi Minh's scooter traffic! Highly recommend. Previously we had only ever done cruise tours - and after this experience I will never do one again.

We loved visiting Vietnam ports and touring with Xuan! - During our cruise of Asia, we booked 2 Vietnam shore excursions with Xuan. In Da Nang, we were guided by Lap and in Phu My (near Ho Chi Minh City) we were guided by Xuan himself. The communications with Xuan in booking the excursions was outstanding.
Both Lap and Xuan were both fantastic guides. We really enjoyed our Vietnam tours with them. Our most memorable highlight was the trishaw ride in Ho Chi Minh City; it was up there with my very favorite travel experiences! I would happily book with Tours by Xuan again and recommend their services.
