• Cu Chi Tunnels - The day begins with a convenient pick-up from your city accommodations. The journey then takes us to the Cu Chi Tunnels, a renowned network of underground tunnels utilized during the Vietnam War and Tet Offensive. Discover the tactics of guerilla warfare employed by the Vietnamese and gain insight into their daily lives, including how they ate and defended their land. A meeting with a war veteran is also included.
• War Remnants Museum - Following the exploration of the tunnels, we return to the city for a delightful local lunch before visiting the War Remnants Museum. Here, we will explore exhibits featuring artifacts from the First Indochina War and the Vietnam War, absorbing the nation’s history before proceeding to our next destination.
• The Independence Palace - Our next stop is the impressive Independence Palace, also known as the Reunification Hall. This historic site served as the residence and office for former Vietnamese presidents. Visitors can explore the grand hall and admire the remarkable architecture before continuing the tour.
• Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral - Constructed by French colonists in the late 1800s, the Notre Dame Cathedral is a notable landmark in the city center. We will appreciate the iconic structure and its exquisite design and architecture.
• Central Post Office - The final stop of the day is the Central Post Office, located just across from the cathedral. This building, heavily influenced by French architecture, is celebrated for its impressive structure, high ceilings, and numerous souvenir vendors.
