This network of over 200 km of tunnels became legendary during the 1960’s when they played a vital part in the American War, allowing the Viet Cong to control a large rural area close to Ho Chi Minh City. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities.

Great half day tour to the tunnels - Great half day tour with An! The group of us had a comfortable drive to and from the tunnels and got to adventure around and hear about the history. Our guide, An, was very knowledgeable. We also had a delicious lunch. It was a good all round tour that I would recommend!

A trip to the Cu Chi Tunnels - Today we met our guide Thanh at our meeting point for our Experience visiting Cu Chi Tunnels about 40 Kms from Ho Chi Minh City. A fabulous experience but made even better by having such a fun and experienced guide with so much knowledge of the subject.
If you are lucky enough to get Thanh as your guide you won’t be disappointed. It’s so hard to comprehend how small these tunnels are and what the Vietnamese people went through. How resourceful they had to be to be one step ahead of their enemy. Thanh explained this so well. Much better than on your own. Thank you Intrepid Urban Adventures and Thanh for a wonderful visit.

Great tour, awesome guide! - Really informative tour to the tunnels! Started early so the site wasn't nearly as crowded compared to when we left.
Thanh was a lovely and really knowledgeable guide! He explained lots about the tunnels, how people lived and survived back then. Probably also has one of the best English speaking abilities we've come around to in all of Vietnam. 👍

10/10 worth booking and a good start to the day! - It was an all-around wonderful experience! Thanh warmly welcomed us at the meeting point and also made sure throughout the entire tour that everyone had a good view, felt comfortable, and that their needs were met. Thanh speaks English very well, so we could really ask any question, and he always understood us. We are very impressed by his knowledge, his English, and his absolutely kind and accommodating nature.
