The tunnels were crafted by local guerrillas as a “springboard for attacking Saigon.” This area was utilized for infiltrating Saigon with intelligence agents, party cadres, and sabotage teams. The tunnels served as hiding spots for Viet Cong guerrillas during combat, as well as communication and supply routes for hospitals, food, weapon caches, and living quarters for numerous guerrilla fighters. The most fascinating part of this tour is exploring the tunnels. Visitors can descend into the tunnels to gain insight into the life of the VC and guerrillas. Cao Dai Holy See is located in the Tay Ninh province.
