- Saigon Opera House (Ho Chi Minh Municipal Theater) - The Saigon Opera House, also known as the Municipal Theater, stands proudly in the heart of Saigon. This architectural marvel is a stunning sight both day and night. Designed by French architect Eugene Ferret in 1898, it reflects the “flamboyant” style of the French Third Republic. Elevated two meters above street level with dual doors, it effectively minimizes traffic noise.
Situated on the city’s central axis, linking the metro station and the roundabout in front of Ben Thanh market, the Opera House resembles a grand city gate from afar. Its architecture features stone-carved ornaments and statues at the entrance, crystal chandeliers, and a gleaming granite floor in the lobby, all crafted with materials imported from France. The elegant oval auditorium, with 468 seats, is designed to enhance performances both visually and acoustically, while being soundproof from the city’s hustle and bustle.
- Cu Chi Tunnels - Delve into a significant historical site from recent local history.
The initial construction began in 1948 when the Viet Minh needed a refuge from French air raids. By 1965, the tunnel network spanned approximately 200 km, including hospitals, schools, meeting rooms, kitchens, and sleeping quarters. Life was challenging for the residents, and booby traps were strategically placed to deter intruders.
Visitors will gain insight into the living conditions, the challenges faced, and the remarkable ingenuity used to sustain life in the tunnels. The tour includes walking past large bomb craters, remnants of the intense bombing campaigns during the Indochina conflict, discovering hidden entrances, and observing small chimneys that dispersed smoke from underground kitchens. Explore the complex and imagine the survival tactics employed by the fighters.

Mỹ Tho - The Mekong Delta, a remarkably fertile region, is a major hub for food production, contributing about half of Vietnam’s total agricultural output. Life in the local villages revolves around the rivers and canals of the delta, with river transport being more common than road travel.
Experience life beyond the city center of the south. The first stop is at a farm where locals produce regional goods, offering insight into one of the area’s cottage industries. Visit an island with lush tropical gardens and sample tropical fruits. Continue to learn about another cottage industry, coconut candy, and explore local villages to understand traditional lifestyles and culture. Discover local life in hidden alleys surrounded by tropical fruit orchards, and transfer to a smaller rowing boat to navigate the narrower canals.
- Ho Chi Minh City - After the Mekong Delta visit, guests will be transferred back to their hotels in Ho Chi Minh City. Tour concludes.
