Dongzhulin Temple - Begin the day with a 4 to 5-hour drive to Deqin County, situated at an altitude of 3400m and 187km from Zhongdian. The journey passes through the Baima Snow Mountain Nature Reserve, offering a chance to see Baima Snow Mountain on a clear day. The highest point of the day is at 4292m, located 156km along the route.

After crossing the mountain ranges, there will be a brief stop for lunch in Benzilan town. Here, capture the scenic views of the First Bend of the Jinsha (Yangtze) River, Dongzhulin Monastery, and Baima (White Horse) Snow Mountain.

Dongzhulin Monastery is the largest of the three Gelu Sect monasteries in Deqin County and serves as a key religious and cultural hub in the Kangnan District. It houses treasures such as a gilded Maitreya, a statue of White Drolma, Buddhas of Three Worlds, the ruler of the hell, Manjusri, 18 Arhats statues, and Tangkar scroll paintings illustrating Buddhist stories.

Feilaisi National Forest Park - Feilaisi is nestled in the Hengduan Mountains, about 10 km southwest of Deqin (Deqen) in the far northwest of Yunnan Province, southwest China.
Feilaisi offers a stunning view of Meili Snow Mountain, renowned as the best location to witness the breathtaking sight of Meili Snow Mountain at sunrise or sunset. It is an essential gateway to Yubeng Village and Mingyong Glacier. Feilai Temple is constructed in harmony with the mountain’s terrain, featuring architecture that appears randomly placed. The temple complex includes Zisun (Descendants) Hall, the Hall of God, Haichao (Sea Tide Hall), Liangxiang (Wing-rooms) Hall, Liang’er (Two Ears) Hall, and Sipei (Side).
