Private, half-day tour of Dingle Peninsula - Spouse, adult son, and myself did this 4-hour tour with Steve in January, 2026. Although the tour was scheduled to begin at 2pm, Steve recognized that the short days would make it impossible to see anything for the last half of the tour and arranged to start us a couple of hours earlier. Steve was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and a safe driver. (We had driven just enough in Ireland to really appreciate this!) His stories were entertaining and informative, and he showed us some amazing landscapes -- all with stories and perspectives of what had happened there. We really enjoyed getting to talk extensively with a local -- makes a huge difference in getting a "feel" for a place and its people -- which, in our view, is much of the reason for travel. Great tour and highly recommended.

A Dingle Dream! - Our group of four had an absolutely fantastic time with Steve! From start to finish, everything was wonderful. He was punctual and excellent with communication. He knew so much about this land and its history and had such a caring and fun way of showing us. We saw so many magical stops along the way and Steve couldn’t have been more accommodating! I would recommend Steve again and again and will be sure to book with him if we return in the future! 10/10 would recommend! Thank you Steve for the best part of our visit to Ireland!

Awesome tour of the Dingle Peninsula with a great guide - Amazing experience. Steve is very knowledgeable of the area and Irish history. He brought every stop to life with added detail. He knew the roads like the back of his hand and strategically plotted our course to optimize the experience while avoiding the crowds aka tour busses. We felt like we saw everything without any rush. Steve is knowledgeable, personable, and very customer oriented. Really can’t recommend this tour enough.

We spent a perfect morning touring the northern Dingle peninsula with an extraordinary Irish guide - My wife and I unexpectedly had several free hours in Dunquin, outside Dingle. The area is breathtaking but we had no idea how to spend our time enjoying the local area. Our hostess recommended Steve’s because recent guests raved about their bespoke tour with the company. We were able to book our own tour with Steve’s and the experience was delightful. He started by bringing us to Conor Pass to view the majestic views of the landscape and provided us with a fascinating lesson on the history of the local land and cultures that lived there since prehistoric times. We have visited Ireland many times and his engaging and personal warmth helped us to appreciate the events and circumstances that helped to form the classic Irish culture. An objective point of view and a deep knowledge of history, geography and cultures made the entire tour fascinating. After Conor Pass, we traveled through other interesting locations including the Blennerville Windmill and concluded with a tour of Tralee. The best analogy I can think of to describe this experience is to compare it a time we had an Italian expert walk us through a custom tour of Pompei. In each case, we were fascinated, energized and grateful to have enjoyed the time with a guide who was intelligent, warm, attentive and engaging. If we can arrange things, we will come back and book a tour of several-days length for our older children that combines the Ring of Kerry tour and the Dingle tour to take a deeper dive on the history of the region.
