After a 35-minute walk, they will arrive at Cayman Well, a picturesque spot ideal for a break and enjoying the river. The adventure continues with a tubing descent, navigating some rapids and serene areas that encourage introspection in a natural setting. This descent lasts 1 hour and 20 minutes, concluding at the river’s mouth where it meets the sea. Depending on the customer’s preference, transportation back to their accommodation will be provided.

An unforgettable experience of tubing and ecotourism with Asotupal in Palomino - I had a wonderful experience with Asotupal doing the pipe tour along the Palomino River, accompanied by an ecological walk through the area. From the start, the team was very punctual, friendly and organized, providing security and clear information about the tour.
The walk was a great way to connect with nature, with local guides sharing interesting facts about the flora, fauna and culture of the region. It was a quiet and educational experience, ideal for those who enjoy ecotourism.
The descent in tubing down the river was simply spectacular. The scenery is amazing, surrounded by jungle and mountains, and the pace of the river allows you to relax and enjoy the surroundings. At all times we feel safe thanks to the professional accompaniment of the guides.
I totally recommend this activity with Asotupal. It is an authentic and sustainable way to get to know Palomino, supporting a local agency committed to responsible and community tourism.

Recommended this plan - The best experience, ready to go walking on the trail to reach the intermediate point from where the tubing tour would leave, this tour allows you to appreciate the nature and diversity of flora we have in Colombia, navigate the river and go through some rapids that generate adrenaline and fun. Recommendation apply good sunscreen to the parts of the uncovered body because on that route I manage to burn.. super recommended

Tubing in palomino - Super. Relaxing, healthy and safe. Beautiful landscape in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada. Jungle yexsubera te. The guides are very well prepared and very polite and friendly.

Video can be seen on tiktok @whatchrissies - Tubing is so much fun! We had the rojo (extreme) but it is not extreme at all so definitely recommended. Furthermore, it is very quiet and you can enjoy nature. We saw a snake (boa).

Calma - It is an interesting experience if you are going to observe nature and enjoy the calm of the river current, as well as contemplate on arrival the force of the Caribbean sea. Good tour, annoying to pay more than booked - We did the tubing tour today (02.06.2025), the tour was good but: We booked a tour for 120.000 cop (60.000 cop each) and had to pay 140.000 cop at the end. I just give one star because I couldn't enjoy the tour fully because they increased the price. We did it anyway cause we had no other chance to do it. It is just so annoying that you don't get what you book! Be careful guys!
