MBC trek with Abinta and Menju Dada - Hello, I am gonna share my experience of Mardi Himal Trekking. Intially I booked it for four days, but after starting the trekking on the first day I understood I need at least 5 days to complete. I didn’t prepare myself for the trek, which was a big mistake. I was very very slow. Damn! But the lovely guide, Abinta never got annoyed.. Infact, she was trying her best to me to do how much I can! She was so super patient, lovely, friendly and a knowledgeable, skilled guide. Always cheerful! My partner and I can't get attached with people easily. But we felt so comfortable with her. She was taking care of us on the whole trip. I got altitude sickness and later I extended to 6 days. Still she had no complaints. Rather she was concerned about my health and pushing me to achieve my dream. If I was in her position, I might cancel the trip 😂. And the last but not the least, the Porter dada, Menju was another best human being I saw in my life. He carried all our belongings and kitbag, which was very heavy. His behaviour and service made me feel home. I don’t know how he was that much first with almost 20kg backpacks in his back. He was also inspiring me to take time and do slower. Abinta and Menju dada, both just helped me to reach to the peak. They never showed any negative vibe, which could make me down. I will miss them and definitely would recommend to everyone. Also I am looking for them for my next trek to EBC. But this time I will definitely make sure that I prepare myself 😂.

Wonderful experience with Nepal Wilderness Trekking - I just completed a private Mardi Himal Trek with Nepal Wilderness Trekking. The guide, Saugat Tamang, and the porter, Tashi Tamang, arrived punctually and made me feel welcome. Saugat is an excellent guide, as he understands my trekking pace and suggested alternative places to stay, along with an itinerary that suits my needs, including photography. He was absolutely right. We reached Hotel 360 on our second night at Badal Danda to enjoy a beautiful sunset. He also recommended reaching the Mardi Himal viewpoint on the third afternoon to see Mt. Machhapuchhare turn gold at sunset. Honestly, I'm really glad I followed his suggestions. I have wonderful photographs from the trek. Tashi is a very polite guy and an excellent porter. His stamina and passion to keep up with me at my age, 52 years old, which is no longer young, meant that without him, I could not have reached the viewing point at that pace. Both of them and Nepal Wilderness Trekking are absolutely 5 stars. Thank you very much. Highly recommended.

5 Days of Magic, Mountains, and Himalayan Pups! - If you’re thinking about doing the Mardi Himal Trek, just book it with Wilderness Trekking! We just finished our 5-day adventure and we are still buzzing. The Ultimate Dream Team: Bhim, the Legend: Our guide, Bhim, was a total pro. He’s a Himalayan encyclopedia and a world-class hype-man who made sure we reached the top with big smiles on our faces. The Powerhouse Porters: Our two porters were the real superheroes. They handled our gear with ease and were always the first to greet us with a warm vibe at the end of the trail. The Best "Trail Companions": The trek wasn't just about the humans! We made some legendary four-legged friends along the way: Bralu at High Camp: We met a sweet black dog named Bralu who hung out with us at the teahouse. He was the perfect high-altitude buddy! The Super Top View Husky: Up at the Super Top View teahouse, we met a beautiful Husky. We spent the afternoon together just sunbathing and soaking in the views. It was the ultimate way to relax after a climb! Fuel for the Soul: Let’s talk about the food! The teahouses Bhim picked were incredible, especially for the never-ending Dal Bhat. In Nepal, they say "Dal Bhat Power, 24 Hour," and they aren't kidding. The refills just kept coming until we were absolutely stuffed. It was the perfect fuel for those ridge climbs! The Verdict: From the stunning views of Machhapuchhre to the laughs with Bhim and the porters, we felt like royalty. We came as tourists and left feeling like family (with a few new dog friends too!). 10/10 would hike again—as long as Bhim is leading the way and the Dal Bhat is hot!

Wonderful Winter Hike - Did the hike with hubby and a group of friends, started the journey from Kathmandu. It was my first personal winter hiking experience on a high altitude mountain. Our experienced guide Bhim was friendly, reassuring and shared many insightful knowledge about the Nepalese culture as well. The invitation to join them in a cultural dance on the first night of our hike was most memorable for me. Our two porters Menjom and Kazu were always reliable and helpful. The hotel stay at Pokhara before and after the hike was very comfortable and of high quality. The provision of a good quality sleeping bag relieved a lot of my worries about dealing with the icy cold weather during our hike, making those 3 night sleeps at the teahouses warm and comfortable. I would highly recommend Nepal Wilderness Trekking for a stress-free hiking trip in Nepal. Danyabad🙏🏼

Mardi Himal trek with Yakub & Manjung - We have just finished the Mardi Himal trek with Yakob and Manjung, guide and porter. It has been a totally amazing experience for our family. Yakub was extremely friendly and professional and couldn't have been a better guide. I enjoyed speaking with him about Nepal and he was lovely with my teenage sons. He took fabulous photos for us and made us laugh a lot! Manjung was always there to help and calmly manage things and he brought us a tasty plate of fruit each evening which he carried all the way. We trekked in the dark by headtorch for 2 hours for sunrise at the Mardi Himal viewpoint which was totally stunning and a real achievement. I would definetely recommend using wilderness treks. Himal responded quickly to email queries and Yakub & Manjung made sure we were always looked after.

Amazing guides , amazing views , off the beaten track. Buy your own water (very expensive) - The guide and porter were so amazing and friendly. I enjoyed the hike so much and we were blessed with fantastic weather. Everyday, Sabin and Gobinda would help us with our stuff and take our orders or just run around and do little things that would make our lives easier. They shared so much about the trek and also Nepali culture. Regardless of how hard things got, they always had a smile on their faces. They even gave my friend and I a little surprise on the last day to congratulate us on finishing the trek. These 2 men are so amazing, without them Mardi Himal would have been so different. Also all the tea houses booked by the tour company are pretty nice . They all have a stunning view of fishtail and very breathtaking starry night skies. Do note most of them are shared bathrooms and gas heaters need extra charge. Also with regards to the company. They’re very responsive , provide great reliable gear ( sleeping bags and poles were very good quality) quite relaxed in the payment process - for example I didn’t have enough USD on me to pay for 2 pax but they said we can pay to the guide instead of making me run to an ATM, really appreciated that. Unfortunately there is one room for improvement. I think it was a miscommunication, but we did not realise drinking water was not included in the package price. We had to buy them from the tea house which was quite expensive ($14 for 3l) .
