We toured the Unitarian Meeting House in Madison with Cherry on a private tour. Cherry was wonderful! She was so knowledgeable and shared the history as well as the current day uses of the property. She began the tour outside which was fabulous - seeing the front (or brow?) was amazing! Cherry answered all of our questions and was very helpful with navigating the premises. I have some issues with stairs so we were happy when Cherry suggested the elevator. Also seeing the newer addition to the facility was fascinating and learning about the architects, etc. What a fabulous tour! It was a birthday celebration for me and it couldn't have been better!! I would highly recommend this tour and Cherry to any and all Frank Lloyd Wright fans! Thank you so very much.

Tour guide Rainer was extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the Meeting House and its additions over the years. I only asked one question about which he was unsure, but he got back to me within hours with the answer and provided a confirmation photo from 1951, no less! Overall, it's the best FLW tour I've had (and I've had many), and while the Meeting House and additions are wonderful, it was Rainer's passion for the place that made the difference for me. Thanks, Rainer! P.S. I know it's FLW sacrilege to say so, but that tympanum in the original meeting space was a terrible fix; as my spirit rises to the heavens, it bumps against the tympanum!

The tour was exceptionally fine. It was full of detailed information about the wonderful buildings, including the meeting house by Frank Lloyd Wright and an expansion by another architect of great talent. The tour guide was more than informative, she was also passionate about the heritage of the building and the values of the congregation that meets there. Though small, this meeting house is one of the more precious examples of the later work of Frank Lloyd Wright. I recommend that everybody who admires Wright and visits Madison make a point of taking this tour. It’s not cheap, but it is more than worth the price.

We really enjoyed Eric’s presentation and guiding. We were very surprised at the size of the Atrium addition. All in all a very good experience.

Our docent spent way too much time talking about Unitarians and the heating system rather than focusing on the building and Wright. People on the tour started leaving before it ended. The tour ran over and we also left once we got through the original structure.
