Not to be missed. An unforgettable experience - Had a wonderful informative and engaging tour with Michael Kinsella. The weather was terrible but despite this Michael took his time and was a wonderful and deeply knowledgeable tour guide. Couldn’t recommend him enough.

Excellent Tour - Would highly recommend this tour. John was an excellent guide and had first hand knowledge of the troubles in Derry. This tour takes you to the Bogside and John describes the events that happened in this area during the troubles right up to the Good Friday Agreement. John was so knowledgeable and was able to answer our questions and recounted his own personal stories of his fight for the truth of what happened on Bloody Sunday. If you are coming to Derry please do this tour so as to learn about a piece of Irish history.

A very emotional tour - Stephen, our tour guide, was extremely informative and explained the conflict with great compassion and sensitivity. I recommend starting with the Free Derry Museum and the Museum of the Peace Process to gain important context. This is an evolving part of history that deserves to be understood.

Exceptional! Best tour guide out there. - This tour takes place at the Free Derry Museum which makes you want to support it already. John explained everything with such detail. His storytelling keeps your attention the entire tour. You see firsthand where these tragedies took place as well as how it arose. John was beyond kind in answering every question we had. A thought provoking, kind, compassionate man. So grateful for the opportunity to meet such a great man.

Great time - John did a great job giving us the kind of emotional understanding of The Troubles you don’t get by only reading about it in history books
