A historic dive that deserves - A true immersion in the Irish Troubles with a guide directly involved in the story. Very detailed tour, emotional, but at the same time faithful to the facts. Absolutely to do if you are interested in this period of Northern Irish history!

Bloody Sunday good history tour. - It was a great history lesson about the troubles starting in 1968. It's hits different when you're standing in the same location where people rioted for equality. The tour guide was very good as he told his experience during that time. Overall, it was worth it. I'd recommend it to anyone who's interested in history.

A well told sequential history of a tragic period, seeing where it all happened. - A well told sequential history of a tragic time. We saw the locations where deaths occurred. The guide’s brother was one of those killed in the massacre and at 8 years of age he remembers hearing gun shots.

Would recommend, interesting fact based tour - We loved the walking tour. Our guide was knowledgeable, personable and open to answering any questions. It was moving and poignant given John's closeness to the events. You could walk Free Derry yourself but this tour really brings the story home and makes you understand the dreadful events of Bloody Sunday.

Bloody Sunday Tour - We were taken on the tour by Noel. Noel was there when the troubles were at their height, so his knowledge etc were second to none. Really interesting, thought provoking tour. Well worth booking yourself on this trip.

A Moving Experience - There is nothing quite like this tour and there is no place we have ever been quite like Free Derry. The tour can be emotional at times. Hearing about Bloody Sunday from the brother of one of the victims, while standing where the massacre occurred is a truly intense experience. We learned a great deal from John and we were deeply moved. For an even fuller experience, be sure to visit the Free Derry Museum. It tells the story of The Troubles and Bloody Sunday very powerfully.

Learning about Free Derry - Guide lived through the event. He was very nice and had lots of info. I think we do not need every single name of people hurt or killed, it was over 50 years ago, and it is a waste of time for us but I realize it is important for the community to remember them.
