It is located 11 kilometers (6.8 mi) from Güzelyurt and 42 kilometers (26 mi) from Aksaray. Despite its small size, Belisırma is renowned for the various ruins surrounding it, including the Byzantine cave churches of Ala, Bezirhane, Karagedik, and Direkli.
