Great staff, experience, and bang for your buck. You end up with a couple hours of entertainment, learn some new skills, and walk away with a (potentially — dependent on your personal abilities) nice quality product. Do it!
This was an amazing class! Staff was super helpful! Will definitely be participating in future classes!
We had a great time making rings with I Made It Workshop! It was so much better than a dinner and movie date night!
I brought my girlfriend and surprised her with the item we were making. The staff was courteous and patient with our meticulous mindset to get it right and we sipped on beer while we worked! We’ll be back for our next project for sure!
This was very fun and interesting! Tried something New, Loved it.
We had so much fun at the Date Night Ring Making Class! The demo showed us exactly what we were doing, the instruction was clear, and any questions we had were answered. The project was so fun and we loved being able to walk away with our own finished products to remember the experience! I would totally recommend this to anyone who wants a fun, unique date.
Miles and Andrea were awesome and very helpful!
This was a fun class that didn’t take very long. We walked away with our rings and are so excited to show them off!
The shop was great - clean and easy to navigate. The staff were helpful when asked questions. The class was less guided than the description made it seem - if it's called a class, then step-by-step instructions as we go along would be appropriate. We ended up helping another couple that didn't know how to use the equipment which should have been part of the instruction. For us, that was fine because we had used a drill press and bandsaw before, but it didn't really feel like a class. After being shown the wood pieces, we were all standing around waiting for the next step or the go-ahead to continue and no one was there to assist. We just started working on our own out of confusion, not preparedness. Maybe call it a workshop if there is less formal instruction, and just guidance? Thanks!
It was fun and we had a good time. We enjoyed the atmosphere and that they had alcohol to buy at the shop. Instructors were helpful. I just wish I would of had more time to work on my ring. We would love to come back to try making a cheese board.
My boyfriend and I had a blast at the coues ring making class. You actually start with a block of wood.the end result was great . Miles and his crew were helpful and slowed us to do every step. I highly recommend.
What a great surprise! We loved the environment (super cool) & the simple project. The only suggestion I have would be to address safety a little more ( I taught art in a public high school so am extremely sensitive to the issue!). Also, showing a few finished rings would have helped us understand how the resin adds to the look. We had a blast & look forward to returning!!
It was a fun night out! Despite being short on tools and machines, we had a great time. One suggestion is to space the two classes a bit further apart, as the first class was slow and delayed our class quite a bit. I'm glad we didn't have dinner reservations afterwards, otherwise we would've missed dinner.
This was such an enjoyable date afternoon for my wife and I. We are always looking for fun new experiences and being able to make something with our hands that turned out so well was rewarding. I have already shared our experience directly with two colleagues that noticed my new ring. Kudos to the individual who created this type of class. The workshop was not daunting for a beginner to get started and make something that they could be proud of and want to show off. This was in large part to the friendly staff, laid back attitude of the space and easy to implement project. We are looking forward to more classes on new projects.
Fragmented instruction was confusing. An overview demonstration would have been nice. It's a fun activity, and we enjoyed it. Thank you.
Loved it! Just need more helpers. Had to wait a bit. Also we are perfectionists so we were still working on our rings when it was closing, so maybe earlier time? Other than that, going back again to do the resin cheeseboard!!!
Fun and entertaining. Very friendly staff
My husband and I had a great time!
This was a great “Date” for us! I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a fun “date”,
it was a little chaotic at first as we were trying to figure out who to check in with and then we were told to just look over the woods - not as much structure as we anticipated. we didn't know people could walk in at any time during the "class" and we just had to pull aside people for instructions/next steps. would have been helpful if the helpers/teachers had t-shirts or name tags to be able to pick them out. otherwise super fun, super fast, and lots of room for creativity.
Such a fun place to work on wood crafts! Staff is wonderful and engaging!
I had a lot of fun and enjoyed my final product. It was a little disorganized upon arrival and not much direction from the staff but overall I had a great time.
We had a lot of fun at the ring making class. With the place being so small, there were a lot of people and not enough tools for everyone. That’s my only complaint about the whole experience, it would have been nice to work on the rings the whole time and not have to wait for tools to become available.
It was not only really fun but also really informative. I loved that you actually got to use the tools yourself and actually make the piece! I've seen places like this where essentially the teacher does all the work and you get to pick the materials but I loved that here you get to do it all. Very cool and I know we will be coming back!
It was a great time. We really enjoyed making the rings. We think it would be a great team building exercise for companies. Thanks so much for the great time.
It was a fun experience. The only downside was the amount of people and not having enough tools for everyone to use. It felt a little rushed because of this.
