• Pikes Peak Center - The next destination on the itinerary offers a breathtaking view from the summit of Pikes Peak. Originally called Sun Mountain by the Ute people and El Capitan by Spanish explorers, it was later named after the explorer Zebulon Pike. Known as America’s Mountain, the stunning view from the top inspired the song “America, the Beautiful.” Standing at 14,115 feet, it is the tallest mountain in the southern Front Range of the Rocky Mountains.
