The sun had barely risen when I found myself at Sanur, the starting point of my much-anticipated Nusa Penida adventure. After a morning of aquatic adventures, we made our way to a cozy restaurant perched on Nusa Penida. The food was a delightful surprise, with the pizza earning a special mention as the best I’d had in Bali.

While some chose to explore the iconic Kelingking Cliff viewpoint, I opted to relax by the pool, soaking in the tranquility and reflecting on the day’s experiences. The decision to skip the drive to the viewpoint was a personal one, influenced by the contentment I felt in that moment. As the day drew to a close, I found myself back on the boat, the sun setting on the horizon.
