Setting Sail to Nusa Penida

The sun was just beginning to rise as I found myself at the bustling harbor of Sanur, ready to embark on a day of adventure. The promise of snorkeling with manta rays and exploring the scenic views of Nusa Penida had me buzzing with excitement. As a former professional surfer, the ocean has always been my playground, and today was no exception. The construction of a glass elevator to the beach was a stark reminder of the ever-changing landscape, and I couldn’t help but feel a pang of nostalgia for the untouched beauty of the past.

A Perfect Ending

The return journey to the water was a welcome relief after the bumpy ride. We indulged in another drift dive, the ocean once again revealing its wonders. As the day drew to a close, we enjoyed some downtime with a cold beer in hand, reflecting on the day’s adventures.
