Sinharaja Forest Reserve - Situated in the south-west of Sri Lanka, Sinharaja represents the country’s last significant area of primary tropical rainforest. Over 60% of the trees are unique to the region, with many classified as rare. The reserve boasts a rich variety of endemic wildlife, particularly birds, and is home to more than half of Sri Lanka’s endemic species of mammals and butterflies, along with numerous insects, reptiles, and rare amphibians.

Udawalawa National Park Safari - Found in southern Sri Lanka, Udawalawe National Park ranks as the island’s sixth-largest reserve, established in 1972 to accommodate wildlife displaced by the construction of the Udawalawe Reservoir. Visitors can observe animals such as elephants, buffalo, deer, crocodiles, leopards, and a diverse array of bird species within the park’s 119 square miles (308 square kilometers).
