We went on the half day... - We went on the half day trip, it was perfect amount of time on the island. Arrive and received a beautiful BBQ and salad for lunch, following by a traditional song and dance. Snorkelled, went paddle boarding, swam in the pool, slept in the sun in the hammocks, free drinks all day, and watched the sun set. Such a beautiful island. I would definitely recommend.

The kids club was really... - The kids club was really just a sandbox with toys. We enjoyed the semi-submersible, the pool, and beach time. The sand is gritty/grainy-not smooth, so we were glad for our water shoes. The bar and food were good and the entertainment during lunch was fun. The boat was PACKED FULL on the last boat home, and I don’t think everyone got a seat.

Enjoyable - A little disorganized when boarding.but turned our ok nice AC on the boat. Nice wee island ,very well run . Good lunch, and facilities ie toilets, bean bags, snorkles. There's even a deep pool. These types of outing are not really my thing but I liked it, As the island wasn't too busy

Don’t think you can get... - Don’t think you can get easy access to the beach for a swim, the coral is everywhere, you need need reef shoes, also there’s not enough snorkeling gear to go around, especially flippers.

South Sea Island Day Trip - I really enjoyed my time out on the island – from the smooth, comfortable catamaran ride to the vibrant Bula spirit both on board and on the island itself. We had a full day of fun activities, a delicious buffet lunch, and complimentary soft drinks, local wines, and beers. The only small downside was that the beach was quite full of shells, which made walking a bit tricky, but overall it was a beautiful day with lovely staff and a great atmosphere.

Transport infrastructure,... - Transport infrastructure, or lack of, meant long travel time to and from Port Denarau. On our return journey our driver dropped us off on opposite of pickup point - no traffic lights to cross in the dark - very dangerous.

Dodgy tour manager-island not worth visiting - Dodgy people selling this tour at much higher price than it actually worth. First i have been told that the pick up bus can pick me up from a nearby hotel (althought the bus actually passed the bus stop in front of my locatiin). Anyway, the bus supposed to stop at the hotel to pick me up. I was not familiar with Nadi and stayed at the other side of the road to be picked up. However the bus came and even didnt stop at the place it was supposed to stop to pick me up. So i ended up getting taxi to Denarau port.the tour refused to accept of miss pick up so i will sue them to get the 15 FJD paid back. Very small island nothing specific to do.did a submarine which was a so so.this tour for sure not worth for the money you pay. Try elsewhere or other islands like Likuri

Worst experience poop island - Discriminated Against and Humiliated – A Deeply Disturbing Experience with South Sea Cruises I never imagined I’d have to write a review like this, but what my family and I experienced with South Sea Cruises was not just disappointing it was deeply traumatic and rooted in blatant racial discrimination. As Indian ,we were treated as if we didn’t belong from the moment we boarded. While white and Chinese guests were greeted warmly, offered premium service, and made to feel welcome, we were ignored, dismissed, and treated like second-class passengers. It was painfully obvious that we were not seen as equals. When we respectfully raised our concerns, the situation escalated in a way that was both shocking and unacceptable. A crew member became aggressive and confrontational, even attempting to physically intimidate us. The general manager stood by in silence, offering no support, no apology, and no accountability. But the worst part came when we returned to Port Denarau. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, the staff called the police on us for no reason other than the fact that we were Indian and dared to speak up. We were humiliated in public, treated like criminals, and left shaken by the entire ordeal. This was not a misunderstanding. It was racism, plain and simple. No one local or tourist should ever be subjected to such treatment, especially in a country that prides itself on hospitality and inclusivity. I urge South Sea Cruises to take a hard look at their staff training, their values, and the way they treat guests who don’t fit a certain profile. And I strongly advise anyone who is a local or a person of color to think twice before booking with this company. What should have been a peaceful day on the water became one of the most distressing experiences of our lives.
