Cloud 9 is a handcrafted marvel, a two-level floating platform with an internationally stocked bar and an Italian wood-fired pizzeria. The atmosphere was laid-back and naturally classy, with a fun and unpretentious vibe. We found a cozy spot on a day bed, perfectly positioned to soak in the sun and the stunning views.

The drinks were reasonably priced, considering the logistics of getting them out to the platform, and the pizza was a culinary delight. We opted for the ham breeze, a delicious choice that was more than enough for the two of us. The staff on Cloud 9 were exceptional, friendly, and attentive, making sure every guest felt at home.

But the real star of the show was the water. The vibrant turquoise blue was mesmerizing, and the marine life was a sight to behold. We took a break from lounging to snorkel in the crystal-clear waters, encountering a variety of fish, including clownfish and starfish. It was a reminder of the ocean’s beauty and the wonders it holds beneath the surface.

Tips for the Perfect Experience

To make the most of your Cloud 9 experience, I recommend heading out in the morning. The early session offers a more relaxed atmosphere, and you’ll have your pick of the best spots on the platform. Sit near the back of the boat on the way out to be among the first to disembark, and aim for a day bed or banana lounge with a table for ultimate comfort.

Order your pizza after the main rush to avoid a long wait, and remember to bring your own snorkel gear, as rentals are currently unavailable. And a friendly reminder: please don’t dispose of toilet paper in the sea water toilets!
