- Temple of Apollo - As you ascend the mountainside, you’ll encounter the Temple of Apollo, dedicated to the god of music, harmony, light, and healing. It is supported by a massive retaining wall made of limestone polygonal masonry, known as the Ischegaon (“that which retains the earth”), and features approximately 800 visible inscriptions.
