Situated on expansive terraces along the hillside, the landslides of past centuries have preserved much of the ancient remains, including the 4th century BC Temple of Apollo, where the Oracle delivered her prophecies, the Castalian Spring of Mythology, the theater, treasury buildings, temples of Athena, and the Gymnasium where athletes gathered before the Pythian games to bathe in the sacred waters. During the visit to Delphi, the physical structures associated with this extensive history can still be seen as the expert guide brings their history to life.

• Delphi Archaeological Museum - TOURING THE MUSEUM. A wonderful addition to the site is the modern museum, which showcases finds dating back to at least 1500 BC, including many sculptures and other unique pieces that adorned the temples and streets of the site at its peak around the 4th century BC. Notable pieces include the Naxos Sphinx, the twin Kouroi, and the renowned Bronze Charioteer, among others.
