Our next stop is Hofje van Pauw, a concealed treasure. Thanks to Elisabeth Pauw’s bequest, eight homes were constructed here in 1707 which served as refuges for Delft’s less fortunate inhabitants.
The Oostpoort undoubtedly takes pride of place among Delft’s landmarks. Serving as the city’s entrance in the past, today it’s an iconic sight that one simply must visit.
