Depending on your flight schedule, your private layover tour begins with pickup at Beijing International Airport (Earliest pickup time is 6:30 am from April to October, 7:00 am from November to March). Then, you will hop aboard your private, air-conditioned vehicle and relax. It takes about 1.5 hours to get to the Great Wall at Mutianyu Section from the airport.

Once you arrive at the Great Wall, your driver will show you where to purchase the tickets (at your own expense). Depending on your flight schedule, your driver will inform you of the time you need to be back and where he will be waiting for you. Then, start your self-guided tour of the Great Wall at Mutianyu Section.

Next, you will head to Beijing City and choose the city attractions you want to visit. Your driver will take you there. Please note that the attractions you choose must be within the 4th ring road of Beijing City.

After a few hours of a self-guided tour of the city, conclude your tour with an airport drop-off in time for your departing flight.

Of course, you can add a friendly guide service upon booking. Your guide will explore the palace with you, tell the histories and stories along the way, take photos, or assist you in watching your kids during the day.

The tour operator cannot guarantee an English-speaking driver. Due to their availability, you may have a Chinese-speaking driver, but they know exactly where to pick you up and drop you off. Guests can use their phone to call our translator if needed during the ride.

1: Your driver can find out the latest flight information, so no matter if your flight arrives early or late, your driver will be there on time. Just in case your flight number changes, please advise your local operator in advance so your airport pickup service can be rearranged.

2: According to your latest flight information, your driver will wait for 120 minutes after the flight arrival (it usually takes 60 minutes to come out). If you have trouble coming out within 120 minutes, please contact your local operator directly.

If your plane is passing through Beijing on the way to other destinations, don’t spend the day inside the airport.
